What a fantastic rifle! While airguns are already much quieter than firearms, just imagine how great it will be to hunt without giving away your presence to the quarry you're stalking. Or, if you're plinking in the backyard or your basement, you're not going to disturb the neighbors or others in your house while you have a blast shooting this gun. But, the main thing you should know is that this gun is wonderfully accurate. If you don't want a gun that you have to tune, buy a bunch of aftermarket parts or do anything to it to make it shoot beautifully, then the HW100 is for you.

Powerful, accurate, quiet. If you hunt a lot, this is the one to get!

I own a FX Wldcat .22, a FX Impact .25 and a Weirauch HW100S .22. Although all three guns are extremely well made, I always have a soft spot for the Weirauch due the outstanding quality of craftsmanship throughout, and the type of accuracy that is second to none . Of course, you need to own the gun to appreciate it, and if you don't appreciate it because you don't own one, then surely you deserve a $200.00 PCP.

Pros
5 pellets in one hole at 25 meters, 1/4" group at 50 meters (with the help of a Hawke 56mm and shooting bench). Gorgeous and very balanced walnut stock.

Cons
A bit on the heavy side for my small 5' 9" frame.

You can buy a rifle in .22 that can go over 950fps and the bad quality will screw all your shoots. When you need to shoot at 50 yards this rifle give you less than a inch of accuracy if you make your part but with other rifle you will make more than a inch group even if you are the best shooter of the world velocity in the pellet world is not good always. When more faster go the pellet less acurated it is.

Pros
This rifle is a pice of art in the field, bench, and in the case. Is a lot of cotton but it worth every penny if you are not goin to buy other rifle in your life.

Cons
Nothing

This review is in response to airgunsbro. Who made a review about a gun he knows nothing about. This is a high quality air-rifle, you pay for craftsmanship which in part will give you good marksmanship. I'm not sure what pre-charged pneumatic gun for 200 dollars you think you can get but I promise you that it won't be very good. Reviews are also made for people who own the gun, so stop BS'ing around.

I cant believe the price on this piece of crap! .22 caliber in 886 fps. FOR $1399! What the hell?!?! you can get 950 fps in .22 for less than 200 in a gun that comes with a scope and looks way cooler than this. Who the hell would buy this?
