This is a very nice air rifle! For the price, it has to be one of the best deals I've come across. It accurately shoots a variety of pellets(I can shoot 6 types of ammo at 14.3-16.1 gr and hit bulls with great groups without adjustments to the scope). I did purchase a better scope than what came with it. It is comfortable to shoot, but is heavy. It has lots of recoil, which does hurt if you hold this gun wrong. Auto safety kicks on every time you cock it, but I can easily kick it off with just my shooting finger(although I always find myself trying to do this with my others that don't auto reset). I really like this gun, it might be my personal favorite so far.

Pros
Accuracy! Not pellet finicky.

Cons
Heavy. Trigger is only okay at best(hoping to find a trigger kit). Scope--why include it? No sights. Seems to require a secure, repeatable hold.

I have had this airgun for some time. After over 3000 rounds down range, I still have yet to need a rebuild like some of my springers. Very accurate when held correctly, and balanced very well. You almost forget it's made in China! I just wish they had the dual caliber version when I got mine! Drat!

Pros
Rugged and reliable.

For the price you can't go wrong with this air rifle. This is my first .22 cal air gun and I must say I'm impressed. I would say the best feature of this air rifle is the adjustable trigger as it really adds to the customization aspect of the gun. The mounts included with the scope are pretty solid and hold up well to the abusive recoil that airguns can dish out. It took me about 8-10 pellets to zero in at 25 yards, and thats right out of the box. Grouping isn't as tight as I would like but I've heard there is a "break in" period you must go through before the gun is performing at its best. I personally do most of my shooting off of a bench with rests, so the 10.5 lbs this rifle weighs is great for me, but if you like to shoot free-hand this could pose a problem. All in all, a great rifle. I honestly didnt think you could get this kind of quality and craftmanship for under $200.

Pros
Ease of cocking air rifle Muzzlebrake/Compensator aids in cocking and reducing recoil Hardwood stock looks beautiful Adjustable trigger and location of safety Heavy Weight- 10.5lbs.....Great for bench shooting

Cons
Polished blued barrel and reciever show fingerprints like crazy Length of barrel with compensator is a bit long, may make it awkward to cock for shorter shooters. I'm 5'-10" and it's borderline hard to get a good grip Scope is decent, but you may want to upgrade at a later point. a 40 or 50mm scope is gonna gather more light and give you a better FOV

Is this a gas piston rifle?

asked Lyn

Is it worth it at 155.00$, Cause the bear claw rifle at 200.00$ looks easyer to manipulate.

asked Johnyboy

How close can you focus with the supplied scope? At all zooms?

asked c sharp

What kind of ammo does this gun use? And where could I buy some?

asked Audrey

It shoots a standard .22 cal pellet. If you have the combo it comes with both a .22 and a .177 cal barrel (easy to exchange), in that case it will shoot either a .22 or .177 cal pellet. Pellets are readily available on-line, most sporting goods stores (Dicks, Cabelas, Bass Pro) and retail stores (WalMart) that have a sporting goods section.
