Filling the Tank
September 8, 2009
I just got my new tank today, and I couldn't wait to fill it up "with" my Discovery air pump.(LMBO). Well I finally got it , but next time I'm off to the filling station. I'm 5'10" and weigh 220 and I use 145 lbs on my weight bench, and I curl 70 lbs.. Ok now here's the scoop on it.. It's not all that bad, but it takes from my pump doing the pump as according to instructions,,, 1600 pumps to get the tank on 3000. Thats a little over 2 lbs. per pump. The last 300 pumps was where the Weight bench really came in handy.,, Also remember to wear gloves ,LMBO,, But it is wort the extra air to pump it up, I havn't checked to see how much a local paint ball shop will charge to fill it up, I saw one close to me that fills with Air and co2 and nytr....But we use air in the tank so they can fill it no problem ..Any way if you need a good work out go with the pump, if you are going to be like me in the future,, run to the air store and let them do it LMBO... Have fun,, anyway the tank is great.. Thanks for a fine tank..
