How do you make a great gun even better? You listen to the customers and do what they asked! In this case, that's adding a synthetic stock to one of the most popular precharged pneumatic rifles made today. Crosman listened and not only put a synthetic stock on the Benjamin Marauder, but they gave it a vertically adjustable comb, too. You'll get a lot of powerful shots that will let you rid your backyard of pesky birds and critters. Don't worry about noise scaring your prey or alarming the neighbors...it's one of the quietest air rifles ever made.

After owning and shooting many springers for years finally purchased my first PCP air rifle. After lots of research decided on .25 cal, I have lots of .177 and .22 cal rifles so I was curious about the .25 cal. Glad I went this route, what a difference the .25 cal makes, recommend this to anyone. Received rifle and out of the box impressed with quality and accuracy was decent, shooting 820 avg. Fps for 3 full clips in factory set up. Accuracy was decent as I said but not the dime groups I read about, being a pretty good shot, so I think...lol, I decided to research how to tune my syn rod...3 easy adjustments anyone with a chrony and 3 Allen keys can do. wish I didn't have to remove stock to access valve meter screw. Side note, although impressed with gun out of box, a soda can filled with water at 50yrds was almost ripped in half, I found my factory settings to be set so low I'm surprised it even fired. Can't wait to see accuracy and fpe/fps after first tune. Bolt action tight but as others have noticed, has some stiffness/drag to it. Factory pressure gauge on rifle and pump qauge don't seem to read same, I use gauge on pump to determine fill pressure. Love the rotary clip and so far not a problem with cycling shots. Great trigger on rifle, after years with springers nice to one that is smooth. Super quiet, almost sounds like its a weak rifle till you see its power. Pumping it with benjiimin pump is a labor of love for sure, upgraded to a hill pump. Factory finish on my rifle is only substandard at best, after shooting to sight in, and applying a coat of rem gun oil to rifle, next time I took rifle out of case I was disappointed to find surface rust on metal tubes of rifle, would have given 5 stars if not for this but in my opinion crossman had to cut corners somewhere to be able to offer a quality rifle like this at its price. Highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking to enter world of PCP air rifles.
Pros:8 round rotary clip. Excellent trigger from factory. VERY quiet, almost comical till you see what it does. Tight bolt action but yes little stiff. Ease of adjustment. Lot of rifle for money compared to other rifles on market
Cons:Factory finish is, at least on my synrod, poor quality. Pressure gauge doesn't seem to be calibrated properly. Hand pumping is a workout

Packaging was very good. Received the rifle in new condition. Unfortunately mine was missing the breech o-ring. The gun was only getting 34fpe with JSB's with all settings to maximum. I discovered the missing o-ring only after I guess over adjusting the striker. The gun did not fire anymore. I did not want to open the air cylinder so I just returned the rifle. I'm still giving it 3 stars because there are a lot of things I like about the rifle. The accuracy is very good. I was getting one rugged hole at 20 yards which is the longest distance I can get in my backyard. The gun report was not very quiet but not very loud considering the .25 caliber and power of the rifle. Maybe comparable to my NP break barrel from Crosman. The weight was not too heavy but not light either (synthetic stock). I would prefer it to be 1 to 2 pounds lighter. The stock styling could be better. It just looks too plain. My favorite part of the rifle was the trigger and safety. The trigger was excellent and a pleasure to use. The safety was very intuitive to use and the location made a lot sense to me. I would also like to mention that AIRGUN DEPOT has EXCELLENT customer service! This was my 2nd purchase from them and I am very impressed by the customer service. Most companies are great when you are buying from them... few are good when you have to return stuff. I definitely recommend buying from this company.
Pros:Noise level considering the power of the rifle. TRIGGER AND SAFETY!!!
Cons:Stock styling and material (synthetic stock). Length of the rifle. Charging bolt is gritty not smooth.
