The Beretta CX4 Storm is one sweet semi-automatic carbine rifle. The 30 round mag is the best high capacity pellet mag we've seen. In our tests we haven't had one jam or misfire yet. Be sure to read the instructions carefully on how the magazine operates. This air rifle is very well built as are all airguns that come out of the Umarex factory in Germany.

It is very fun to shoot. What more can you ask for? 30 rounds .177 magazine, you can literally shoot 10 magazines for a fun filled day. Compared to my airforce, the only thing it lacks is power. However, with 30 rounds of pellets and 10 rounds of magazines, you can't beat that. You can line up your targets and just start shooting without having to stop and load.
Pros:Almost everything.Cons:Trigger is very hard to squeeze. After 10 magazines or 300 squeezes, you can really feel that carpal tunnel syndrome you never had before. Now you do. |

Fun to shoot but not to acurate

The repeating action is great for plinking, not super accurate, seems to like lighter pellets. You will run through gas tanks and pellets!
Pros:Fun to shoot and I like the ScopeCons:The trigger action is to hard for my taste, and the distance between the grip and the trigger is to short for my taste. Does not fit with the silencer on the case |

What a sweet rifle. Out of the box and at 40 feet the cans were dancing. This is the coolest air rifle I have ever seen. Nearly as much fun as my (real) 7.62 X 39 SKS rifle and a lot cheaper and easier to clean.

I would not use it as a hunting rifle but it is a lot of fun plinking cans in the backyard. I get about 300 shots from the 88g CO2, but the last 100 or so are a bit weak and struggle to penetrate hard plastic bottles or thicker soup cans.
It is reasonably accurate with decent groupings but nothing special. What makes this gun fun is the 30 pellet clip semi auto action, without the need to pump or break barrel.

My backyard is kind of small, only about 30ft from end to end, but it was enough to kill a "roof rat"! These are very common in rural AZ right now, and not too many people know about them, because they only come out at night! That's when they eat the dog food, and eat from the orange & citrus trees!
I need to get a flashlight for the picitanny rail, but other than that it works great for this distance!
The best part about this gun is the fact that it's dead on, and it has not jammed once on me, and I've had it for about 2 weeks now! We love the semi auto! If you miss once you can rest assured you will not miss again! Great gun, and it looks cool too!
I have some more rats to kill!
I think I've put about 120 rounds through it using the same cylinder, and it's still got good power!

Awesome and UNique - VERY accurate

I was kind of worried about this b/c of the issues with the accuracy. However, once i zerod the scope and weaver rail mounteed laser i got as well, the spreads are quarter-sezed at 10m.
having the external laser zerod to the 4x32 scope is great for noscoping win.
Sure this is no hunting gun, but its got a30 rd mag and has a nice kick (for a co2 gun).
Drop the barrel, sight the laser and go!
I certainly overcomplicated the decision by considering the nighthawk (and paul cappelo's trash "review') - There simply is NO Comparison with teh CX4. Sure its money - but so is quality. No jams (how could you jam if you load it properly???) and no complaints.
Its just too much FUN!!

if you are looking for a gun to unload on squirrels or chipmunks and kill stuff around your yard DO NOT get this gun. The fps is way too low. the only lethal shots this gun fires are the first hundred of the co2 tank. It took 6 shots to take a chipper and i have yet to succesfully kill a squirrel cause they just run when they get hit DONT GET THIS FOR HUNTING.

dont bother with the scope can't mount it properly without modification i.e. grind off almost half inch of rear sight n ears in order to get proper eye relief. even then sciope lacks suffecient range of adjustment to sight in scope. Accuracy sucks five shot groups at 10 meters average 3 to 4 inches.

this gun is amazing its a must buy gun ive bout all teh assories except for the case im not bog on the case but man i was out shooting ducks at this river and i missed a couple times cuz i wasnt realy aiming but than got its semi auto cuz if not they duck would have gotten away but it didnt i nailed 4 good ones into its head wing butt and middle section of his body its a must buy its worth the price

Very nice airgun. High quality materials used to construct this replica. A great plinker, but not for target shooting. It will deliver consistent shots within a 3 inch circle at 30 feet. Unfortunately, with the compensator attached to the muzzle, the rifle does not fit in its custom case, and the compensator must be removed each time the gun is stored in its case. Lots of fun, still.

well i got my cx-4 storm not gonna lie very pretty i was very excited to get the down fall is the power 600 fps now it might be my pellets but it doesnt do as much damage as i thought it would i was thinking if it had a velocity leveler would make it better ill pay for more air if i had more power.

I just recieved my Beretta CX4 today! WOW is it a fun gun! I went through a pack of 250 pellets in a single shooting session. I ordered two extra mags, and I'm so glad I did since loading them is a little time consuming. It's a great buy, especially since I almost ordred the Crosman Nightstalker, but I knew if i had that, I'd be dreaming about having a 30 round mag...so I dropped the big bucks, and got the Beretta. Great gun.....get it!!! (the tactical version is very sexy!! buy that one too, since it's cheaper then buying all the upgrades that you will want as soon as you get the base model)

Some times the o-ring can need oiling, use pelgun oil on the tip of the Co2 canister. If your O-ring did need oiling this is the best way to do it.
