Good trainer
November 6, 2014
This pistol is close to the firearm in the way it feels and its grip. Well made but has a few hiccups.
Pros:
Open sights similar to my match pistol sights. That's why I got one. Good for practice. I use it for 5 meter, 6 yard, indoors only. Umarex does a good job with this well made gun. Handles 7-8 grain wadcutters pretty good. This is a springer so some vibration takes place but not bad. For the price, it is ok.
Cons:
The manual talks about pellet drift when fired. Mine goes left so I have to rely on the correct sight. Loses accuracy at anything over 6 yards. It is low power so no outdoor use for me. It is quiet but emits a pronounced pop on discharge. Mine is not easy to fire offhand so that is a negative for me. The vibration when fired is multi-directional. Accuracy improves using a 2 hand grip with thumb and index finger against the top tube . But it is not a 10 meter pistol with accuracy.

Fun to shoot
June 21, 2014
The pellets bounce off hard-cover books and a dartboard. Beside that, it looks pretty nice, is very fun to shoot .although it has bad sights, it does shoot accurate. Like the light cocking effort, and can't say i have any complaints about the trigger. In all a very nice gun, but must say i enjoy the P17 more.
Pros:
Price / light cocking effort
Cons:
For my targets, it would have been nice if it had a little more power.

Browning Buck URX
June 18, 2012
I would have liked this gun a lot more if the sights were better and the trigger pull wasn't so heavy. This could have been a great starter gun for younger shooters but I can't recommend it with the heavy trigger and the hard to see iron sights.
Pros:
Easy to Cock Small Size Fit's nice in your hands Low Noise Built in weaver rail
Cons:
The trigger pull is way to heavy for this kind of gun The auto safety is annoying but I can see it useful for really young kids The Sights are hard to see in most lighting conditions

If you're a shooter who enjoys the relaxed, single -shot,low/medium power very accurate, stye of target shooting then this pistol is for you!!! This feels good in the hand,is quiet, and very well built...all for $45 dollars!!!!And it's Browning tagged!!We are using non-lead ssp or RWS pellets, but you may need to check and see what works best for you're style of shooting. If you are looking for a loud,multi-shot,"supergun" this is NOT for you!!! The character of this pistol is it's selling point in my opinion,...a quality, low cost ,accurate, and quiet pistol.
Pros:
just about everything! to change anything would change the character of the pistol.
Cons:
nothing...it is what it is!
