BSA invented the modern spring-piston gun, but they've never stopped to rest on their laurels. They continue to innovate, relying heavily on the expertise of world-renowned airgun expert John Bowkett. The GRT models are a prime example of their forward movement. The Supersport was originally introduced in 1986, and the SE version is the latest in that long line. Gas piston technology has also been added to this model, as airgunners have discovered the many benefits. It doesn't have much in common with that older gun because it has a significantly higher velocity and is made with modern materials and technology. BSA spring- and gas-piston air rifle models are put through a rigorous 10,000-shot test and then stripped down to see how they held up. Anything that doesn't last is improved so it will. Not until the gun passes with flying colors in all areas does it get approved for production and can wear the BSA name. Don't you wish every airgun manufacturer did that?

Been an Gunsmith for many years and getting hooked with the air rifle bug again ,right now have over 20 high quality air rifles and this has become my new " go to ,any gun" (of all my rifles) the 25 cal. its light, good quality , great trigger ,accurate .My only complaint is the plastic fiber optic sights ,and have already changed them. The big dollar guns are great and love them also ,and the cheap guns ,for the most part junk ,this is a firearm you will you will actually use small game hunting.

Pros
trigger, good power , real quality at its price

Cons
NONE ,if you like plastic fiber optic sights

I previously owned a Crossman Nitro. It never did and still shoots poorly even after 500 plus shots. So I contacted your store and talked to Dan. He recommended a BSA GRT and it shoots great. I could not be more pleased. Thanks Dan

Pros
Shoots great and great sights.

Cons
None

what kind of speed does the .25 actually shoot?

asked John Nail

expect an average of 500 fps ,with spring or gas piston.

Gerald from USA

I can't give you a answer? I wish I could .I want to ask you that if you find the answer to your question will you please let me know also. For I own a few older GAMO 440 and 220 that are .177 CAL. But no .22 or .25 CAL. I shoot from a sitting position due to being mostly wheelchair bound .Disabled Vet, My son and I were able to take one of the .177 cal. Apart using a home made JIG to Easley remove the spring and piston that provides the pressure to expel the pellet . I replaced under sized O rings and added homemade leather washers to the piston . Lubed spring with a THICK MADE GREASE mixing moly and STP oil treatment. The results were and still are fantastic . I BELEAVE that it is shooting at or near 1500 or better FPS. and dead on tarket with lead pellets . We also ordered and installed a CHARLIE THE TUNNER TRIGGER . SUPER SWEET. My son and I done all this four years ago and it shoots just as well today. My son is not into this type of sport any longer . He is 22 and the love bug gave him a big bite on the rump giving him a big dose of the WHATEVER. WELL GOOD NIGHT AND GOD BLESS. [email protected].
