I mounted a Hawk 6x24x50mm Airmax scope on this rifle and zeroed it in 5 rounds , at 50 yards and it was stacking pellets. Build quality is solid and the tactical stock is not hollow, and comes with sling swivel studs and a bipod was mounted. The ten magazine feeds the pellets flawlessly . Opted for extra mags and the single shot adaptor which is all metal .Ive been using the crosman 10.5 grain in the cardboard box with great results. This rifle is capable of excellent accuracy far exceeding the shooters current skills.

Pros
Less expensive than a Air Arms, Daystate, and still built in Birmingham England and still includes the performance.

Cons
At over 8 pounds without a scope it can be heavy. There are lighter scopes available , but i liked the Hawk brand Airmax . Its a personal preference .

Awesome describes this air rifle!!! I purchased her in .22 caliber the accuracy is superb, I get 40 regulated shots ( 4 mags ) I have mine sighted in at 50 yards and I shoot 3/4" or smaller groups at 4 different targets 10 shot groups. Well, that's on a calm day. All I can say is this gun is very accurate, I have a few friends who shoot .22 rim fires all the time and were so impressed with the 1200 that one has already purchased one. Upon receiving my gun i ran one wet patch with silicone oil (crosman) then 4 dry patches to clean the barrel. Installed a BSA Contendor 6-24-40 after 10yds then 25yds sight in I zeroed her at 50yds about 1/2" hi. She gets between 938-920 fps with JSB 16gr pellets for 40 shots! Very very nice trigger nice and smooth bolt action, the stock shoulders and feels nice. Perfect for hunting.

Pros
Awesome trigger, nice synthetic stock perfect for heavy use! Regulated this with that trigger gives you awesome accuracy. She is not pellet fussy, but mine shoots the best with JSB 16gr, crosman hollow points ( Discovery 14.3 ) shoot very well close second is the HN FTT 14.66 every pellet shot thru her was good. But JSB 16 were the best. The cost!!!!!! For a regulated gun the price is hard to beat!!! I really hate to admit this but the 1200 out shoots my Daystate Regal .22 I tried and tried but the 1200 won nearly every shoot out. I tried them side by side and the 1200 edged out my Regal, barely just barely but the 1200 won.

Cons
Biggest con for me is the weight, she's a little on the heavy side for me. She is front heavy, she try's to tip forward but, nothing that I would call a deal breaker. If you are a big man or woman it probably would be no issue. I have a bad shoulder ( left ) I shoot right handed so my bad shoulder tires quickly. Honestly this is the only con that I can mention. Oh, one last thing I really wish that BSA would change. Build the 1200 where a person can replace the fill port to a foster filling system. I'm real bad at losing my fill adapters!!!!
