I have two Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 scopes. One is mounted on a Walther LGV and the other is mounted on a Weihrauch HW95. Both Bushnell Banner scopes have been impervious to the two recoil of these spring guns, particularly the sharper recoil of the HW95. Edge to edge clarity is excellent. Overall optical quality is clear and sharp. The binocular type ocular adjustment produces a sharp, clearly defined reticle. Turrets emit a sharp click when turned. The adjustable objective continues the procession of overall high quality. Parallax adjustments produced acute images across the adjustment range. Windage and height adjustments were precise. I put the Bushnell/LGV combo to a test on my field target range. Targets kill zones range in size from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2" inch set at distances ranging from 15 to 60 yards. Images were sharp and clear at all ranges. It was joyous seeing target after target fall to the smooth shooting LGV and the razor sharp Bushnell Banner.

Pros
High quality at a reasonable price; precise click adjustments; the "fast focus adjustment ring;" reasonable price.

Cons
lacks mid-dot reticle;

I have owned one of the scopes since 2012 i bought it at the time for my .308 caliber deer rifle and it has never failed me it has held up to a few of my springers and has been on all of my guns at least once since then. If you want a good scope with higher magnification and good clear optics this scope is for you.

Pros
Good clear optics Good solid adjustments Wicked good value

Cons
Non mil dot reticle.
