works like a charm and came in a display sealed package! Great value!
October 22, 2014
Put it on my Titan .22...two months still holding zero...had to use a modified RWS UTG high elevation mount because of sever barrel droop but I'm very happy with this combo now...shacky Sam hits his bullseye now
Pros:
The pleasure of use...no turret caps to mess with...good mill dots when needed...like it's clear view.
Cons:
None really but the OA values are slightly offset...I need to find out how to tune/adjust it.

Average Scope - Likes Warmer weather
January 5, 2014
Attached this Scope to my Ruger .22 Air Magnum. This Rifle is a Cannon so I can see where the raw poundage dished out caused problems. Scope Looked great and lit up well. Both Set screws to secure the Windage and elevation actually backed out of the scope; lost 1, found 3. I am holding on with the 3. At just under $60 I really can't complain a whole lot. Had I known this would happen; LockTite could have/would have prevented this. Most important, you can not adjust the scope during cold temps - Not happening. Here in GA, it was cold during Feb of 2013 when it arrive. April came and the scope sighted perfect and held thru Nov. Noticed the Set screws missing. Now with cold temps in Jan I can no longer adjust Windage / Elevation due to Cold Temps. Shoot it - adjust it during warmer temps, add some LockTite to the Set screws and you will be OK with it. My Air Magnum was the problem of raw poundage that this scope could just not handle.
Pros:
Great in temps above 60 degrees. - sighted in well and held up against a strong Air Rifle for a few months.
Cons:
Four months of average shooting; the Set Screws backed out. Lost 1, saved 3. You need to sight the scope - You need to LockTite the screws. Can't handle a highly powerful Air Rifle.

This is an AWESOME scope for the price
March 31, 2013
This is by far more than I expected for the money. I mounted this scope temporarily on my Stoeger X10 .177 air rifle and sighted it in. I can't miss. I say I mounted it temporarily because my girlfriend bought me a Benjamin Trail NP 1100 XL for my birthday and this scope will go on that gun when it arrives later this week.
Pros:
Easy to mount and sight in. Illuminated mil dot reticle. Price.
Cons:
Haven't found anything negative yet.

Perfect for airguns.

I also have a UTG with about the same specs as this centerpoint scope. I put this centerpoint scope on my Hatsan Bt65 .25 cal. and it is unstoppable. I love this scope so much, I gave the UTG to my son to put on his GAMMO Bull whisper extreme. If you want to hit your targets no matter the distance this is the scope for you.
Pros:
The flip up lens protector broke on me already. But that's a baby variety.

Nice scope
March 10, 2013
I bought this to replace the Gamo scope that came stock with the bone whisper extreme. At 30yrds, you can see where the pellets are hitting the target without the need for a spotting scope. It also has 2 color illumination which is nice, but hard to see during bright sunlight. Changing distances makes for easy adjustments on the scope and keeps the pellet on target. A very nice scope for the price.

Good scope for the money
March 10, 2013
I put this on my Hatsan 125 and it works great. The only time I have to re-zero it, is when I change ammo type. The big hand adjustable windage/elevation controls are easy to use. Much easier than fumbling around with a screwdriver. Image and cross hairs are sharp. Focusing at any distance is a breeze.
Pros:
Quality of build. Price. Easy adjustment of windage/elevation.
Cons:
Nothing

Great scope
March 7, 2013
I put this scope on my Gamo Hunter Super Sport. I used the medium height one piece Gamo mount that came with the gun. I would recommend using a higher base because the scope cap hits the barrel and I had to take them off. The mil dots are great if you like shooting different kinds of pellets. I sighted it in for the Gamo match pellets and if I want to use the PBA Raptors I Just use the top mil dot. Taken a few hundred shots with it and so far so good.
Pros:
Mil Dots Price Comes with caps and extra mounts Illumination
Cons:
Nothing so far

Great Scope For The Money
February 24, 2013
I currently have this scope on a .177 Gamo Viper and it's great. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I had to return my first one because of adjustment problems.
Pros:
Great scope for the money Clear Built well Holds zero well
Cons:
May have to send one back to get a good one.

For the money, you won't find a scope with the features and power. A great deal. I mounted a bipod to the barrel which balances out the weight.
Pros:
Powerful. Love the easy adjustment and the red, green and black reticle!
Cons:
Heavy, but nicely balanced.

Fantastic scope for any gun and nearly any range of shooting
January 12, 2013
At the sale from of $59, there is no other scope near the quality/value of this CP. It will be a perfect match with nearly any rifle and handles the pounding of an AG. I have this mounted to a fairly tricked out/tuned Gamo Silent Cat. One thing I missed when purchasing, is that the rings are weaver and not dovetail so if you're planning to mount this to most airguns, you'll still need a different set of rings. You will also want at least a medium high set of rings. With a high set, I can leave to scope covers on with just enough clearance to make adjustments to the parallax. Make sure you have a good set of rings for this on an airgun or the scope WILL creep on you. Don't over tighten and crack your tube either though.... Overall, a fantastic scope with all the bells and whistles. I would have spent twice the purchase price on this scope and still been a happy camper. Will be purchasing another for my SKS and perhaps yet another to replace the stock scope on my 7mm WSM. Love this scope!
Pros:
*Great quality, cheap price *Mil Dot *Iluminated reticles (red/green) *Comes with a spare battery *Comes with a nice set of weaver rings *I like the flip up scope cover (some don't) *Adjustable parallax can be dialed in for crystal clear picture out to any distance you would safely want to shoot (on air or powder). *4-16x40 is the perfect blend of size and zoom (IMO) and it still lets in plenty of light w/o the oversize bulk of a 50mm lens - side note on that, if you want/need more light, a 50mm is still going through the same 1in tube. Get a 30mm tube if you want more light *Relatively light for it's size *Open box looks good as new *Good eye relief and fairly forgiving *Scope rings have "stick-um" or "scope glue" whatever you want to call it which is a nice touch though most have that these days *Have yet to find a scope that's near this for less than a few hundred
Cons:
*Not a 30mm tube, but with everything else you get for the price, the 1in tube/40mm lens lets plenty of light in.

June 3, 2012
Great scope for the price, can't really tell it was a refurb. All the parts were there and no problems with it while putting about 600 rounds down range. got this as a backup after something got loose in my UTG 4x16x44. Sent it back for warranty. That is 2 center points that I have not had a problem with, I shoot approx 600 rounds a week. Airgun Depot has been great, all orders ship out right away and get to me in 3-5 days ground.
Pros:
good quality for a great price
Cons:

Great zoom scope
May 9, 2012
I mounted the scope on a Gamo big cat break barrel and zeroed it at 50 yds. It required about 15 rounds to complete, but when finished has held zero for a month. The image is clear through out the 4-16X range and I really like the cross hair illumination which is really helpful under low light conditions.
Pros:
Almost everything.
Cons:
A little Larger than and heavier than I would like.

Sweet scope for the money
January 25, 2012
Scope is pretty nice. Opened it up, and realized it wouldn`t fit my base mount off of my previous scope on my Gamo Varmint Hunter HP (and yes its the insane-ly fast one) but just took the old rings off the factory scope and replaced it. Worked like a charm. Took it out to the backyard, and after about 10 shots had it close to dialed in at 25 yards. Put 5 RWS Superdomes in about a half inch hole from where I was shooting. Just took some time to figure it out, Mil dots are new to me. Put up a coke can at 60 yds and used the mil dots to knock it down. Pretty sweet once you get used to it. So far no complaints about shooting it with a big heavy magnum spring gun, but I`ve only put 50 or so rounds through it so hope all goes well. The added accessories and gadgets are pretty cool. Took the old flashlight/laser combo off the previous varmint hunter factory scope and was able to mount it on this scope too. The scope caps get a little in the way, but still works fine. Great scope for the money Hope this helps!
Pros:
-Affordability -Mil dots -1" tube -Accessories -Solid shooting
Cons:
-Don`t know yet

CP 4-16X40AO
December 25, 2011
I recently purchased a Ruger Mag air rifle from AGD (refurb'd, which is the only way to go as all there refurbs look new) which came with a 4X32 scope. The scope was ok, but not up to the performance potential of this air rifle. My daughter bought this scope for me at Wally World for $75. This scope changed everything that was performance oriented pertinent to this air rifle. Beautiful piece of engineering for such a low price. Focus adjustment works great, AO adjustment is a revelation in air rifle shooting. Tough as nails. It mounts easily on a picatinny rail and stays put even with such a powerful springer. You may find the AO and Focus adjustments a little stubborn to turn at first, but be patient, they loosen up a bit and become user friendly with use. At $59 bucks, if you need a scope, don't pass this up. I recently purchased a Hammerli X2 refurb'd rifle from AGD and I hope they still have this deal after the holidays as I intend to scope all 3 of my air rifles with this scope. STICK WITH SUCCESS!
Pros:
Quality and price. Weaver rings.
Cons:
Nadathing.

I have a Gamo 1250 Big Cat, will this scope mount directly with supplied rings or do I need to purchase other hardware?
By Staff on April 20, 2012

Answer:
You will need to purchase some scope mounts along with this gun if you do not currently have any. I would recommend either medium or high rings. Also, make sure you get the right rings for you gun. Dovetail(smooth) or weaver(rigid)

By Sheldon from Waianae, Hawaii on February 10, 2012

Will this fit my Ruger Blackhawk .177 air rifle or would I have to purchase a mount?
By Staff on May 21, 2012

Answer:
It should work for that rifle just fine, though it does come with weaver rings so you would want to get new ones.

It says "medium profile" weaver rings. Is there 5/8" or more clear viewing height from the mount bottom to its top without the scope interfearing in the view? There are (minimal lighting) times I would still like to have the use of my iron sights...
By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on February 10, 2012

Yeah, if the scope hits the receiver, get some "high profile" rings.

By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on February 10, 2012

Answer:

By gabe from AL Gulf coast on June 9, 2012
After owning this scope for 7 months and approximately 800 to 900 shots I am no longer impressed with this scope as I was initially. The elevation turret completely "froze" and can no longer be adjusted. At first, the turrets were stiff but begin to loosen up with use....then total failure! Has anyone else out there had this problem?
