Made in the USA
Even if you don't shoot metallic silhouettes, you'll want the Crosman 2300S! This pistol is drop-dead accurate and was purpose-made by Crosman to give your competitors a real run for their money. Instead of putting their own barrel on the gun, Crosman put a choked Lothar Walther on it. This gives you some of the best accuracy possible on a stock air pistol. This target pistol is ideal for bull's eye shooting; which also meets IHMSA rules for Silhouette "Production Class" competition. The receiver is grooved for mounting a scope. With its post front sight that sits atop an aluminum muzzle weight making the rear Williams sight is an airgun enthusiast or target shooters dream come true. The crisp detent stops on this all-metal sight let you home in on your target so precisely, that others will be amazed at your new-found shooting skills. The single-stage trigger, with an over travel screw, is adjustable down to 1 lb. making the gun even easier to shoot.

Awesome pellet pistol
July 13, 2012
After receiving this pistol, I have to say that Crossman has really created an awesome pellet pistol. You can adjust just about everything to make your shot as accurate as possible. I am somewhat shakey with a pistol, and my eyesight is not great, but before long, I was hitting bullseyes at a quarter size bullseye area at approx. 10yds. The price is somewhat high, but believe me you get what you pay for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros:
adjustable velocity adjustable trigger pull too 1lb. pull competition rear sight great style
Cons:
nothing I can honestly say at this time.

Solid Performance
July 4, 2011
Have been using a Crosman 2300S for over two years now and is still as accurate as day 1. Good groups from 5 to 25 yards with no site elevation changes needed. A CO2 cartridge lasts for about 60 rounds. Works best with 8.2 gram pellets.

2300s

received my 2300s and found it to be of excellent quality and craftsmanship. airdepot replaced the first one because of the dovetail, but they did so in very quick time, with no problem whatsoever. the new gun is the one i am grading, as the other one had a factory defect. this one is excellent and VERY accurate. best accuracy was with gamo wadcutters. very satisfied with the gun, although i may at a later date get some wood grips, just for my own personal taste, as the plastic ones are fine.

a great gun for the money
January 27, 2009
I have had one of the Crosman 2300s pistols for about a month now and have fired over 500 shots through it without problems. The sights are excellent for target shooting and pest control. I use mine for hunting mice and rats in the evening on the outskirts of the local landfill. The 2300s has sent over 100 "pests" to their doom. The 2300s is an excellent rat wrecker out about 30 yards using Gamo Hunter pellets. The other reviewer was correct though on the stock grips, they are terrible and look like something off of a two dollar cap gun. Luckily RB grips makes some excellent replacement grips for this gun. They totally change the look of the gun and make it a much more natural pointer. Overall I am giving this gun a four star rating, if crosman sold it with better grips and a trigger shoe I would give it five stars. One last point, when shooting at mid power levels in over 70 degree temps I can get about 80 full power shots per 12g Co2 cartridge. Excellent in my book.
