How can the same Crosman C41 BB Pistol refubished crank out 495 fps and a new Crosman C41 BB Pistol is showing 480 fps? Is there a misprint? Mine is new and without any way of determining how fast it shoots I'm puzzled...
Looks Performance Great Feel Sound like it's crankin' out the "heat" It's a Crosman and it's fun!

Powerful, accurate, easy to shoot, one of my favorite CO2 BB pistols!
September 13, 2014
Saw this pistol listed as available refurbished, with great reviews so placed order last week. I have bought several CO2 pistols in past year, some blowback, some all metal, some pellet and some BB. Although my preference is 1911 pistols, and blowback are realistic, I really like this pistol! I have shot about 100 rounds on first CO2 cartridge and can probably get another magazine of BBS. What impressed me was how good this pistol feels in my hand, and the tight grouping for a double action pistol. The trigger is an easy pull, and the gun is very balanced. As result it's very easy to hold on target. I also liked the power, and the BB magazine is very easy to load and well constructed of metal, not plastic. The slide is a little cheesy, not read function, but it does hide seam along top of pistol, and therefore improves the appearance. This is amazing gun for the money if you want a straight shooting, powerful pistol that's modeled after a legendary WWII pistol. P.S. may be a little hard to shoot if small hands, but if you like 1911 styled pistol you will likely enjoy shooting the Crosman C41.
Power, accuracy, balance, coolness factor. The faux wood handle is actually better than most plastic handles, easy access to CO2. Great value.
Not blowback, so a little less realistic.

loads of fun to shoot.
March 20, 2014
after reading all the reviews on the crosman C41 I thought for the price I had to have one. the p-38 has long been one of my favorite pistols & seeing that I have no plans of shelling out 2000.00 for a real one I thought that this one might be as close to owning one as I'll get. anyway when it was delivered I was glad to see that it came packaged in a real box like pistols used to come with and not some plastic clam pack. at least I can reuse it for storing the pistol. pistol has a nice weight & real feel to it. I liked the slide back grip that hides the co2 cartridge and I have not had any problems with mine as some say they have. sure it might not lock in place as tight as I would like but once you grip the handle while shooting it keeps it snug because of grip pressure. I like the movable slide even if it serves no purpose because it adds to the realistic look & feel. the only downside to the grip and slide is if you try and holster pistol it tends to want to slide back. loading the co2 could be a little tricky if your not used to doing so. mine starting leaking and I gave it a quick snug and it sealed up tight. I got about 120 shots per cartridge & 80 strong before any power loss. I was able to shoot heavy tin food cans at about 15-20 yards away & punch holes in these heaver cans. no problems with the sights and was pretty much on target most of my shots & for fixed sights and a smooth bore you just cant beat that. easy to load clip and made well. I have pump and break barrel pellet guns but all that pumping and one shot at a time is okay if your hunting game but this pistol is just a lot of fun for shooting cans or targets at a slow or fast pace. the reviews are true so I think most people would be happy buying this pistol. I also have the makarov pistol and the finish is nicer & looks like a true replica pistol but it does not have the power this one does & the clip is a pain to load. my guess is that both are made in the same factory.

Great BB Pistol
July 28, 2013
The first thing is the weight. It is metal so the weight is very close to the real thing. The first 100 shots go a little high left but it gets more accurate after that. I got well over 200 shots on one CO2 . Impressive. Be sure to get an extra magazine for fast reloading and shooting.
Price for metal quality Weight for great pistol practice Good power 20 or so shots per load Great feel
Not accurate at first but gets better after 200 bbs

Gotta Love This Gun
April 15, 2013
I've had this gun for a few months now. I bought it because of the many positive reviews I found on the internet. I bought three extra magazines for it and a holster with a compartment for the extra mags. The first things that impressed me about it were the power and the accuracy. I pretty much hit what I point at. The only negatives about it are the stupid slide that does nothing but move and the grips which open too easily. I fixed the grip thing with some artistically formed epoxy. I thought I had the slide glued in place, but I guess not. I'll need to do that again. The gun has large grips and is a handful, but it feels pretty good. Trigger pull is OK. The mags are easy to load. The gun is loads of fun. Very glad I bought it.

nice co2 pistol
October 1, 2012
After I received the pistol I took it out of the box, read the instructions, checked it out and loaded a cyl of co2, a magazine of bb's and went to plinking. It was a little more accurate than I had thought since it was my first air pistol. Lots of fun and quite a few shots out of a cyl too. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a fun little plinker.
Fairly accurate and fun to shoot. You could use it to train a "newbee" to handgun shooting before trying them out on a a 9mm p1 or p38.

December 27, 2011
I just got it, pulled it out its all metal, the slide can be pulled back and I shot it , it flashes and feels so cool!! It's also one heavy son of a gun (pun intended) powerful, it's also modeled after the p38 Hate how it's grip is so loose!but it's a good wish it was wood.
All metal Powerful Co2 Large mag Heavy and sturdy..slide goes back
Grip is to loose!!!!!

Solid and accurate
December 4, 2011
This is a sensational BB shooter suitable for target shooting and fun. It's a solid piece of work that isn't choosy as to the BBs used. The grip is a hand full, and might not suit smaller hands. The trigger pull is smooth, but long. The slide pulls back, but its only purpose is to expose a screw, if you're tempted to take it apart. The barrel can be easily cleaned by pushing a patch into the bore and shooting it back out, though BBs don't line the bore with lead like pellets, and so, cleaning is an option. I would compare the operation of this pistol with the Colt Defender, as the trigger pull seems identical, and the accuracy about the same; both, along with the superb Makarov, are manufactured in Taiwan, and they seem to be doing first class work. If you're a Crosman fan, or just want an all metal pistol, you can't go wrong with this fine gun. You'll shoot many BBs before changing the CO2 cylinder. As for any BB gun, I suggest trying different brands of BBs if you're concerned about accuracy; it does make a difference.

surprisingly awesome

I purshased this gun thinking it was going to be weak, but to my surprise far exceeded my expectations! I am very picky when it comes to bb guns/pellet guns and go buy their strength and accuracy. This has both! I love the fact that it is all metal except for the plastic handle. The fake slide on top is kinda loose, but that can be taken care of with a small welders kit for a nice welded seam along the sides or back. The handle needs to have some sort of small locking clip to prevent the handle grip from coming loose. Thats about it! This is a must have!!!

great gun
July 25, 2010
This is by far my favorite .177 gun to shoot. Very real feel to it, the metal is as thick as a real handgun, and it looks like it shoots a 9mm, unless u look closely at the end of the barrel( it has 2 diff. holes at the end)... It is quite loud, and i get about 50-80 shots per cylinder, 70 average. It is also very powerful 4 a bb handgun, It goes a 1/3" into a maple 2 by 4... The only thing that could make it better is blowback, but it shoots a stream of gas that looks like a flash almost(awesummm). Oil it evry 250-500 shots and ur good 2 go(put the oil on the co2 cylinder tip)... BUY IT!!! I bought mine here btw.

I got this gun on my birthday, Dec. 7 (Pearl Harbor). This is a very realistic gun, exactly like a Walther P38. Easy to hit cans at 22 ft. Every thing I could hope for in a gun. The only problems Ive had with it is it seems it runs outa C02 fast. Anyone else have that problem?. I would highly recomend this pistol.

Great Gun
April 14, 2009
This gun is very good. My friend has it and he missed a tin can and got the BB stuck in his wall. I agree with Tylar, this gun does very much look like a walther p38, not the beretta 1935 pistol. Highly recomended.

Is this made by Umarex for Crosman? I ask because I have had trouble with Umarex guns and this one looks like it loads exactly like my Colt Defender (by Umarex) did. THANKS.

No this gun is manufactured in Taiwan for Crosman. Hope that helps.
