Answer:Maybe your problem is that u don't tighten the cartridge's cover hard enough... i was having the same problem... but once i tightened hard enough until the cartridge cover doesn't twist anymore it stopped losing co2.. if that's not it than it most be what u say, a loose gasket or something... best you send it back to be fixed.

The only thing Im worried about is how it looks and whether it would pass as a "real gun" on camera since there will be a few close ups. Does it have the orange tip like toy guns have? Does it LOOK like its all metal and heavy?
