Overall Rating for Daisy Air Rifles - 840c Grizzly Camo .177
Nice "First" BB gun

By Jim Conway from Atlanta, GA on May 30, 2012
I bought this for my 2 boys to teach them basics of Safety and marksmanship. The gun is well proportioned, reasonably accurate, and easy for them to use. They love it, and are constantly asking to go shooting with it. Pros:
appearance, accuracy, sizeCons:
Velocity is slightly less than expectedI would recommend this item to a friend.

I had one of these 840s when I was a kid (close to 30 years ago). I used to shoot dragon flies @ 10' with open sites. I put literally tens of thousands of copperheads through it. Good 1st gun. This gun is awesome

Answer:
Yes you can drop birds with this and some other small game. You can use any pellets as long as they're .177 but i don't know if you can use clips with this gun.
