Finally Failed...
May 19, 2013
![]()
This pistol was made in Japan and seemed to be of high quality. After having this around for a while and not shooting it very much, this little Daisy finally failed in two ways. First and the most aggravating is that the CO2 leaks out every time due to a failed seal in the cylinder seat. I am trying to find a replacement part. No luck so far. Second issue is the upper receiver area. It is all plastic and warped over time to allow the magazine catch to sit high enough that the rotary magazine does not advance unless one places their hand on the top of the receiver to hold it down in place. Time to replace this piece.
Pros:Simple, inexpensive pistol for plinking.Cons:CO2 seal failure makes pistol useless. |

ive had this gun for about 3 days, but i am very impresed. it isnt perfect acurate, but ive shot cans at 30 yards no problem. GET EXTRA MAGS!!!!. this gun is powerful and is fun to shoot, but with only 6 shots in every mag, they go fast. i also got ABOUT 100 SHOTS WITH ONLY ONE CO2 CAN. i would suggest buying this gun for beginers and experienced shooters.

This pistol is well balanced, accurate, and dependable. I would suggest ordering extra rotary mags when you order the gun for easier speed loading. you'll enjoy this gun!

Not a bad pistol for the money. I like the size of it, it has some heft to it. Not super accurate, but not bad really. Another reviewer mentioned that it was quiet, I've actually found it to be quite loud, more so with a new cylinder. Get some extra cylinders, those six shots go fast!

This is a plinker, nothing else. It looks great, feels right in your hand and actually is fairly quiet.
If you want tight accuracy, this isn't it. If you want to be able to place shots within 2-3 inches out to about 30 feet, this is ok. But then, I've never known a C02 pistol to be match accurate anyway.
The barrel assembly may kick open during a shot, but I found that due to a misaligned rotary clip.
All in all, for what it is, it's good. If you want to blast stuff around your yard, this pistol is nice for that.

I really like the fiber optic front sight. This gun is Dead on acurate. I"m nailing 3" rings from 23 feet using shoot NC targets. This gun has power and is a blast to shoot. Love the 485fps for BB's and the 425fps for pellets. The pellets seem to fire higher then the listed 425fps as well. I would rather shoot .22 cal pistols , but this gem has brought FUN to shooting .177 cal. pistols.

Answer:
Any gun that uses a source of air for power should not be left in the loaded and/or cocked position for an extended period of time since each one uses seals. So while CO2 can be left in, once again, it is simply not recommended. The same applies to spring, Nitro Piston, PCP, Gas (as you mentioned) or any pump gun.
