I've used this system for a few years now. I never had issues with pigeons falling out or breaking. I do suggest to gently load the sleeve one at a time and not rush.

Pros
easy to use

Cons
can be a fussy feed if you are rushing.

This targeting system is basic garbage. First off, I would have to agree with the first three comments (sorry Joe) regarding the clay pigeons falling out. I realize that in order to keep that from happening one must jam the stakes into the pigeon holder so that the washers are flush with the base of the unit, however, once that is done, it makes it virtually impossible to disassemble the unit for easy storage. That was the least of my concerns however. Once I solved the problem of the pigeons falling out, I ran into a second, more serious problem of the pigeons getting stuck within the unit. The internal track that the pigeons are meant to slide down is too wide and the allows the pigeons to overlap, causing an internal jam. This is extremely poor engineering in Daisy's part. But by far the most frustrating and irritating aspect of this system for me was the warning on the side of the box that states that the system is not to be used with any air rifle or pistol rated over 400 fps. It would be nice if that fact were stated someplace on the website as I would not have purchased the product had it been. My sole intent was to add additional height to the system so as to be able to place at least 15 pigeons within and then place the entire system at a good 50 or so yards away and have at it with my Benjamin Discovery PCP equipped with a 6-24x50mm scope. Of the 16 assorted air pistols and rifles I own, there is not a single one rated at or below 400 fps (I mean, what's the point?) which renders this targeting system pretty much useless. My advice to anyone thinking about purchasing this targeting system is to forget about it! Buy the individual stakes instead. Yes, it's a little more work. If you'd rather not have to keep running and refilling the targets, I would highly recommend the Gamo Rocker pellet trap. It resets itself and can really take some abuse. (Just don't shoot BB's at it as you might put your eye out.)

in respose to the first three comments, the reason they fall out on the first hit is because when you have to jam those rods that hold it up until the washers are flush with the holder then they wont fall out. Just look at the picture on the box!

KEN IS WRIGHT, THE SYSTEM DID NOT WORK AS STATED, THE DISKS WOULD ALL FALL AFTER THE FIRST HIT. BUT IF YOU PUT A PIECE OF TAPE ACROSS THE TWO RAILS JUST BELOW THE SMALL WASHERS, IT KEEPS THE DISKS FROM ALL FALLING OUT AFTER EACH HIT. IT MOW WORKS AS ADVERTISED. SOMEONE NEEDS TO CONTACT THE MAKER AND TELL THEM.

I bought one of these a few months abcm and can never get it to work right. the clays are always falling out of the bottom. they are only held from falling by 2 small washers. usually when you shoot on the other clay just falls out on the ground. I suggest sautering something onto the plastic that will actually hold the clays from falling. In my opinion this is a definite dont buy. But the stakes that are also made by daisy are alot better.
