DAISY Max Speed #7562 PELLETS 250 CT .22 Cal Wadcutter (Flat Head) Designed to fire in all Daisy rifles as an extremely accurate pellet, with economy in mind. Flat head (Wadcutter) for shooting paper targets and plinking. Max Speed pellets are constructed of lead (to engage rifling without damage) and transfer maximum force to the target with less risk of ricochet than BB's.

Overall good pellets 8/10
June 26, 2014
I previously only would shoot Crosman Premier Hollow Points out of my Hatsan .22 but I decided to give these a try. They are great for targets and shooting old fruit (especially apples and pears). I also managed to take out a couple squirrels with these pellets. They are able to deliver a good hard hit to the squirrels but what I noticed with these wadcutters compared to the hollow points is that the hollow points really beat these pellets with the stopping power they put on whatever gets hit. A well placed shot with these can get the job done, but hollow points are much more forgiving and provide you with a bit of room for error.(Still try to place shots well) They're great pellets and the 3 dollar price is great too, but I would limit these to small game and targets only.
Pros:
Price Quantity Accuracy Flies true Can deliver decent stopping power on targets
Cons:
These are a bit less forgiving than Hollow points (for example)

pellets

A friend of mine showed me some expensive pellets he purchased. They surely are more quality, and I wish I could buy those, but my frugal attitude won't let me. These pellets shoot very nicely and will stack one on top of another from a bench rest. I can't justify spending more money for prettier pellets, when these work just great. Lots and lots of pellets for less.

Good, cheap plinking pellets
March 5, 2014
In my Big Cat these pellets will shoot a consistent 1-in group at 10 meters. They're not accurate by any means, but for the price, they fly better than most other economy plinkers I've tried!
Pros:
Very cost efficient Tight molding/fit in barrel
Cons:
Not very accurate Flat nose is good for little besides punching holes in paper

Decent Pellet
May 21, 2013
I tested this pellet with a modified Crosman 1322 carbine with 24-inch barrel. Seeing the picture for the Chinese version, I was expecting to find 1 round pellet for every 10 pellets. These pellets are manufactured in Spain and have a fluted skirt with few deformed pellets found. I included a snapshot of a Chinese version next to a Spanish version. The pellets fit tight in the breech (very much like RWS Superdomes). In testing 20-pellets I found none that fit loose. In this group, I had only one flier.
Pros:
I found these to group reasonably well with the modified 1322 Carbine at 20-feet. I had 3/16-inch CTC (5-shot strings) with the accuracy being scope error (too close). With a better scope, I expect to see 1/16-inch or better with these pellets. The pellets come in a screw-top cannister.
Cons:
Not offered in 500-pellet tins. Wrong image for the tin. The image is for the pellets made in China; not Spain.

Best Pellet For My Crosman Quest 800x
April 20, 2013
After testing many brands and weights of pellets, these are the "favorite" of my Crosman Quest 800x .22 cal. They are accurate, lowest cost, hard hitting and the lead in these is softer than most other brands which makes them mushroom out like a hollow point upon impact. This not only makes them great for shooting paper targets, but they are also an excellent hunting pellet. With these you can kill two birds with one stone. No pun intended. LOL
Pros:
Accurate Hard Hitting Lowest Cost Great Dual Purpose Pellet
Cons:
A few are slightly deformed but this is easily fixed by inserting a .177 cal BB to straighten them out.

All around good pellet
January 10, 2013
Breaking in a Benjamin Trail np 1100 xl. These pellets have been more accurate than ANY GAMO pellet! I've tried the gamo Master, Hunter, & Magnum. They shoot all over the place. These Daisy flat nose pellets fit more snug in the riflings of the barrel. The Gamos will fall out when closing the breech if you're not careful. I shot a squirrel from at least 50 yards, way up in a tree, SWACK!! It knocked him out, hit the ground never moved. These pellets hit hard, they will do fine for squirrels or rabbits. Soft lead flat nose = Dead game!
Pros:
Accurate enough for plinking or small game.
Cons:
Lead gets all over fingers.

My QB57 stacks these pellets at 12-20 yds. Very consistent sizing. Fun for targets only though not for hunting.

Just say no

I have an RWS model 48 that will shoot 1/4 to 3/8" groups at 25 yds. at an indoor range with RWS meisterkreugeln's and Crossman premiers. The Daisy's will practically fall halfway down the barrel before shooting, and have a 5-shot grouping of over 8" ! ... one of their products to stay away from.
