The ECHO 1 AK CPM is an extremely well designed and well built rifle that is undisputedly among the best looking AK replicas we have seen to date. It is also officially licensed by Vector Arms and has trademarks laser etched into its receiver giving it a top score in appearance. With only the pistol grip and fore grips being made of ABS, this rifle has the same metal content as the real firearm and is exceptionally solid. The receiver has a non reflective matte black finish with contrasting steel receiver pins. The stock has somewhat of a crud design, as it should since after all it is an AK, but is very rigid and does not wobble at all. The stock folds to the left and locks onto a spring loaded metal catch on the side of the receiver. With the stock folded to the left you still have access to the fire selector and can comfortably hold the rifle making better for close quarters than other AK under folders on the market. Its battery is installed into the top of the receiver by flipping open the receiver cover and sliding the battery down through the front of the gun. The receiver cover on this rifle is actually spring loaded and hinges at the front so it is a lot easier to install the battery in this model than what you are used to doing. Also unlike other AK models which are restricted to using an 8.4v battery unless you do some serious modifications to the battery compartment of the rifle, the CPM has enough room to hold up to 12v stick type battery pack

As a collector of reproduction airguns I am pretty picky about what I buy. After internet and store searching I found this Echo to be the most realistic looking and feeling of the AK 47's made. Yes, there is a more expensive model with a real wood foregrip but does not have as much FPS and is almost twice as expensive w/0 battery and charger. The ECHO is well made and has wollup. The black paint may scratch off if you play in skirmish games but matt black spray paint will renew your finish. The orange plastic tip can be removed as I did for realism. A fine hack saw or dremel tool cutting away the plastic in the 2 notches of the barrel end will get you started. Use needle nose pliers to break the plastic bit by bit until it comes off. A quick touch up with the spray paint and you have one realistic looking, high output weapon. Love my M1AI and this AK47. Next purchase will be the M16. That will give me the three most famous military weapons in history. Airgun depot is a great place to buy.

After shooting this AK47 I am extremely glad i bought it. I just did 4 full clips from a battery charge. The accuracy was amazing. I was hitting a 4" tin can lid screwed to a tree from 35-40 feet with open sights and free style. You are going to love this most powerful and accurate AK47. Get the JB Unicorn Metal 600 round mag as backup to the supplied plastic one. Both work well with this gun. Call da boyz at AD and order this weapon.
