Dispatch them comfortably with one shot, but know that backup shots are readily available with your repeater. How does it shoot? Is it accurate? Is the repeating mechanism smooth as butter and quick to advance? Yes. Yes. And yes. Sure, you want power. Sure you want a repeater. But none of that matters if you can't hit the side of a barn from the inside! Evanix guns have a reputation for accuracy, and the Tactical Sniper is no exception This rifle delivers a hail of lead downrange exactly where you want it. With accuracy and smooth functioning already proven in the other Evanix repeaters, you cannot go wrong with this gun. It's ready to do your bidding. Tech talk The Evanix Tactical Sniper and the Evanix Rainstorm II rifles have the same valve, although the valve body sizes are slightly different. The actions are completely different. There are some small changes in the trigger, but the platform is the same. Evanix's ongoing tech improvements include better performance for the hammer weight, hammer spring and valve return spring. Tech talk about the .45-caliber gun The trigger-pull is 6 lbs., 11 oz. Our tech department got 12 usable shots per fill, which took the reservoir pressure from 3,000 psi down to 1,400 psi. The rifle has a different flash hider than the other Tactical Sniper calibers. It's 41" long, has 21.50" barrel and weighs 9 lbs.

Love the gun.. went ahead and purchased an 80cuft air tank and hand pump.. got the full kit now.. yes dot sight and telescopic.. holds a great pattern..at 25 to 50... its better than my shaky hands can do.. the only thing that is very disappointing is the magazines.. plastic insides break easily.. and when you have to pay $50 for one.. not a very good engineered item.. wish they would make it entirely out of metal... this is the only thing cheap about the whole gun.. the magazines.. basically they suck. Get yourself 3 or 4+ ... I have to admit the mags make me second think recommending this gun.. well not that bad.. I definitely do not recommend the mags.. I would rate the gun at 4-5 stars.. the mags at 1-2 fix the mags and it jumps the entire gun system to 5 for my tastes. Recommend to friends..I am stuck on the suckiness of the mags.. since they force us to recommend yes or no .. I will have to say NO.. if and when they fix the mags .. then yes a definite YES.

Pros
Great looking and great shooting..fun..

Cons
Magazines are over priced and break way too fast.. need to be made totally of metal.. inside plastic pieces break and make the mag basically worthless.

The Evanix tactical sniper in 357 cal is a must have gun and in my view the best step into the big bore multi shot platform. Money well spent and might I add at over $1000 I think it is a bargain for the workmanship on offer here. Just remember to 1.Clean barrel 2. blue locktite screws 3. Use Jsb- Air venturi ball-95grain-105grain ammo only as not to jam mag and you will be in big bore shooting nirvana. Also Utg or centerpoint 4-16-40 or 6-24-50 scope will be all you need to get a good picture of target.

Pros
Very unique air gun. Very accurate. All metal and very well balanced. Fully adjustable fore grip, cheek pad and rear stock. Accessory rails all over. Comes with two clips. Easy to shoot not glitch at all.

Cons
No sling mounts

What is the difference between this one the sniper and the Carbine?

asked Hunter

How much is the power of evanix tactical sniper .22 with 28 grains pellet?

asked Moji

same question, looking for an alturnative rifle for deer, will the impact of these rounds be enough for a humane kill and athow far.

asked Michael Francis

We do not recommend hunting large game such as deer with any air rifle. While large caliber air rifles will penetrate some larger game animals, they lack the muzzle energy needed to create sufficient knockdown power to humanely take large game. Typically we only recommend airguns be used to hunt game of coyote size and smaller.

Scott from USA

What is the maximum distance for the .357 caliber at which is capable of taking down a buck?

asked Carlos R. Romero

Not an ethical choice for hunting deer. You should want 1200+ MV for hunting deer. Tx law might allow less, but I doubt it. Wayne

This gun could take your texas deer out to 60 or 75 yards if you want to take a whittail you need a texan or aoa has a good big bore to

.

Heavy rounds (120 gr and up) 50-60 yards. Jsb and H&N 75 yards.

Lawrence from USA

If you can hold a shot pattern of 3-5 inches I don't see much limit under 80/100 yds

R.carpenter
