FX Boss, Walnut, .30 cal

The FX Boss Walnut is the first big bore caliber rifle in a traditional stock. And nothing is more traditional than this gorgeous ambidextrous walnut stock, not the cheap walnut you see on some other airguns, but actual high grade walnut that you can take care of and pass on years from now to the next generation of airgun hunters. And the larger .30 caliber pellets that the Boss fires allows airgun hunting to expand to larger game. And since the Boss features the FX Smooth Twist barrel, the accuracy, range and muzzle energy is up to the challenge to deliver consistently. And at a suppressed sound level as the barrel is shrouded and moderated.

Consistency is delivered shot after shot by the internal air regulator. This regulator hands out the same measured amount of air for each shot regardless of how much air you have left in the onboard air cylinder. With a full fill you can expect to get 40 shots, and due to the regulator you will get the same velocities on your first shot as you do on shot 40. We recommend using JSB .30 caliber pellets as the Smooth Twist barrel was designed with those pellets. You?ll be able to obtain around 870 fps resulting in 80+ ft/lbs of muzzle energy. As for accuracy expect a nice long flat trajectory and the ability to have sub 1 inch groupings even at 100 yards!

Firing your FX Walnut Boss may be your favorite part. FX is known for having incredible triggers, but the FX Boss features the new generation of FX triggers that has taken perfection and made it even better. Out of the box (which isn?t actually a box since we?ll ship your Boss in a FX hard case) you?ll find the trigger set at just 12oz. it's incredible light and crisp break is love at first pull. But if you're more of a firearm guy or gal that is used to heavier triggers on your hunting rifles, not a problem. The trigger is fully adjustable and you can turn it into a 3 lb pull which will still have the nice carrot like break that will aid in obtaining the best shot possible.
