Great gun

I probably taken at least 50 birds with this gun, both long range and close up. This gun is also easily able to take squirrels and rabbits. you definitely have to get it with the 3-9x40 scope. very accurate and quiet and durable. the trigger pull is a little heavy but it doesn't make a difference. A great gun for starters, until you pass this point and move up to a .22 or .25. GREAT GUN.
Pros:
accuracy loudness durability
Cons:
trigger pull

Shot about a 1000 rounds through the gun at 25 yards with quarter size patterns. Bought Charlie da tuna's gamo replacment trigger and now shooting nickel size patterns. Bottom line replace the junk scope and trigger and you have a great gun for the money.

I just got this one from this site and so far i'm having a blast with it! I've already mounted the scope and everything and it is bigger than you would think. It's not that easy to cock at first but then you get used to it really quick. It is not quiet though! You pul the trigger and you feel like your shooting a small 22. Some people say it kicks but theyre just wimps and have never shot a real firearm. It is just awesome and I don't have to say anything about the specs. It's gamo, right? anyway it is overall a well made rifle and scope and they are definitely worth the $!

I got my rifle at Wal-Mart. Knowing what great rifles Gamo makes it wasn't hard for me to spend my money on it. I Also own the Gamo Shadowmatic which is very similar to the Big-cat (the Shadow series is actually the predecessor) It shoots extremely well and has more than enough power to take down small game and even some varmints. I highly recommend this rifle to anyone, the scope includes is outstanding as well.
