High power and pinpoint accuracy meet head-on in the DynaMax™ .177 Multishot. This easy-to-use sporting rifle offers maximum range performance and fast-fire convenience at the press of a button. At the heart of the DynaMax’s high-velocity action is the innovative 10-shot repeater system, allied to a spring-loaded, press-to-load feature which can cycle shots at the rate of one per second. The latest version of the 10-shot, removable rotary magazine adds rapid reloading to the Dynamax's impressive list of features. The DynaMax has a match-quality, full-floated barrel. The recoilless action is cocked by a press from the shooter’s fingertips, which allows the rifle to remain loaded and ready for action, yet safely un-cocked until it’s on aim and ready to shoot. Add the DynaMax Synthetic Tactical Stock, and two-stage, adjustable trigger and this rifle becomes a supreme air-powered hunting machine.

I just received my gamo dynamax in the mail today and put on a BSA sweet 22 and it only took me 10 min to sight it in at 50yards. DEAD accurate.

Q&A
By Jeff Schneider from White Lake, Michigan on January 23, 2012
I know this may sound dumb to those that know but why does it look like there are two barrels on this rifle ?
By Staff on January 24, 2012

Answer:
This is actually a really good question. This gun is what is called a PCP rifle or Pre Charged Pneumatic, PCP rifles have a chamber or tank that is Pre pressurized and holds the air while you shoot. Though you do have to refill this tank once the presser gets low it allows you to take several high powered shots without any pumping or hard pull cocking.

So on this gun what looks to be a second barrel (lower barrel) is actually the air tank for this gun.

By Dinesh from Dehiwela-Athidiya, Sri Lanka on August 3, 2012
Could this wonderfully unique cocking mechanism prove stiff/problematic to use over time? Isn't this gun on the heavy side @ 3.9kg? How good is it for hunting? Say a large rodent like a bandicoot at 20 - 35 meters? Spares freely available, and likely to remain so in time to come? Is this gun relatively trouble free and easy to maintain overall?
