Description
The DynaMax has a match-quality, full-floated barrel. The recoilless action is cocked by a press from the shooter’s fingertips, which allows the rifle to remain loaded and ready for action, yet safely un-cocked until it’s on aim and ready to shoot.

Dynamax review from powder burners point of view
June 2, 2012
Heaps of power and extremely accurate, this gun has the added bonus of a 1/2 20tpi threaded barrel so you can screw a silencer straight on which makes it extremely quiet, you can only hear the pellet hitting the target I have the .177 version which I easily drill magpies with at 50m. The first time I took it out I fired 5 rounds at a target 20m and had a variance of about 2mm off centre in fact I thought the gun was broken till I dug out the pellets. Best ammo I have found so far are barracuda 10.5gr don't bother going lighter as seems to effect accuracy (cost me a packet for no reason I must of tried 5-10 different types). Apparently the CP heavies are the way to go but being in NZ I can't seem to find them. The scope seems good when I first sighted it in I shot 3 rounds then worked out mathematically how many clicks and have never had to change it since, I think the illuminated scope is a waste of time though.
Pros:
Everything!!!!
Cons:
Ideal charge is 230bar which is at the limit of my dive bottles but hey I just go get some crayfish and scallops with the remaining air or just charge to 200 and that's good for a few. Has caused a break up between me and my 22lr (I'll miss you sniff sniff).

Amazing gun! I recommend it for beginners like me because of the low price and how easy it is to use. All you need is a pump, pellets, and glasses and your good to start shooting. The only problem I had was that I switched the scope, and put it on my Gamo Whisper, and I took one shot and the crosshairs got crooked and I do not know how to fix them. But for all beginners, you have to buy this gun!

Sorry for my bad English...
I want to know the price to receive one Gamo Dynamax PCP Air Rifle with 3-9 X 50 scope.

Answer:
The price for the gun is $399.99. I am not sure how much it will cost to ship the gun. It could take days or weeks to deliver depending on customs in your country. Sometimes they hold the package for a long time.

Can you get a silencer(supressor) for this gun? At gamo.com they had made it for some other air guns.
By Staff on April 27, 2012

Answer:
Some of their rifles come with the suppressor attached and does not come off. This rifle comes with all attachments attached. (You can change the scope)

With the amount of pressure these guns hold, it must be a regulated amount used for each shot. My question is this...how many "full" powered shots will you get before having to re-pressurize the gun?
By Seminole John Horse from Hollywood, FL on June 7, 2012

Answer:
Each rifle is different and will use air dependent on the atmospheric variables of any particular day and pellet weight/design. Use the pellet that gives you the best grouping for a particular discipline and shoot it at a fixed target from a full tank until the pellet starts dropping out of the grouping zone. Count the amount of pellets used. that should give you a base line then subtract 10.

Can you fit a suppressor to this rifle is the barrel threaded for one?

Answer:
No.

Is this rifle run on CO2. Description is confusing. Ernest Jutras
By Staff on January 9, 2012

Answer:
This rifle is compressed air rifle, you charge it with pump or fill it with an air tank.

By Jason Shirek from Botswana, Africa on November 25, 2011
the pumps for PCP's are quite expensive. Can you fill the guns resevoir with an air compressor or even a regular bike pump if you have the correct fitting?
By Staff on December 7, 2011

Answer:
A regular compressor will not work nor will a bike pump. The PSI required by PCP guns is much too high for a bike pump or a regular compressor to handle.

PCP airgun tanks usually have to be pumped to 2000 - 3000 PSI .

Hope this helps.
By george from ca on June 21, 2012

Answer:
You can fill them with scuba diving tanks.
