Look Good At First Glance, BUT...
September 27, 2014
If forced to choose only YES or NO for recommendation I must say *NO*, but I would say maybe if I could explain the problems to the friend first, and I knew he could not afford anything better. These look really good at first glance for the price, but they have a major issue. Little things like screw pocket depth seem pretty good, and the set screw on one mount for the use on springers to keep them from walking certainly makes sense. The overall appearance is nice. Certainly these were made as airgun scope mounts. However, I found two things that bothered me. The first may be a symptom of the second. FIRST: I very carefully tightened up the clamp screws a little at a time, and kept the clamps even using the staggered snug, then tighten, then check method many have written tutorials or made videos about. I found the screws constantly surprised me as to how loose or excessively tight they were as I did so. SECOND: They are not straight to each other. I can clearly see the scope is not in line with the gun from left to right. I will try reversing one scope mount to see if it lines up the scop better. I hope these being out of line did not damage my $200 scope.

Cons:
