The "Bone Collector" is designed in collaboration with Michael Waddell and Travis "T Bone" Turner of the "Bone Collector" TV series. The gun is built on a special hunter forest green composite stock with dark grey rubber grip inserts. The "Bone Collector" logo is prominently shown on the synthetic high-grade stock. The Gamo Bone Collector Bull Whisper .177 Cal Air Rifle now features the more quiet and smoother shooting power of Gas Piston! With the quiet bull barrel we all loved on the Whisper, you can be accurate with every shot.

Overall Rating for Gamo Bone Collector Bull Whisper .177 Cal Air Rifle With Gas Piston
noise and accuracy complaints

By micah from huntsville on April 26, 2012
I have had a whisper .177 and will soon have one of these. The first things i will do is get a better scope and make sure the screws are ALL tight. Next i will clean the barrel and put a few hundred rounds through it. The reason for this is it allows the barrel to get lined with lead which in turn makes it quieter and shoot straighter. One thing to remember is the faster the ammo the closer it is to breaking the sound barrier. When i used pba .177 ammo it make a crack sound and it of course doesn't have as much of a impact on prey anyways but i wont worry about that with the .22. I can effectively use a lighter ammo that still has to crushing blow for a one shot one kill hunt. Another thing i wont have to worry about is the wind effecting the ammo as much trying to sight a .177 in on a wind day is nooo good. Also use a good ammo which will have a more constant weight like gamo pellets. They also tend to have longer skirts! A lot of the stuff i have touched on addresses some of the common misconceptions with pellet guns like "its not accurate or its too loud or the scope isn't quality" which it is i just would like a better one.Pros:
qualitytrigger
silencer
Cons:
scope could be a 3-9x32I would recommend this item to a friend.
Suprisingly Loud

By Cole from Auburn, Illinois on April 22, 2012
When searching for a quite pellet gun this gun appeared in most searches because of its Bull Whisper barrel. So after it arrived i test fired it and sounded as loud as a .22 rimfire. I specifically bought this gun because i needed pest control withut the neighbors knowing because i had complaints from them and authorities telling me im no longer allowed to shoot any guns near my house. Could of done better job with the noise reducer GMMO.Also the scope is garbage i'm going to have to go out and buy a new scope if i plan to keep this gun. Not recommended if you live in urbanish setting.Pros:
FastAccurate with better scope
Lightweight
Cons:
Trigger pull not adjustableScope

this gun is great it is solid and works like magic. i hit a rabbit in the head at 65yds. even tho the scope is really good i would recommand the center point 4-16x40 here at airgun depot. overall great gun, great job gamo!!!!Pros:
nitro pistonpowerful
light weight
solid
Cons:
scopeI would recommend this item to a friend.
not as advertised

By gregg from michigan on March 3, 2012
pictured with noise dampener, iron sights and w/ 3-9x40mm scope. when received, came with full polymer bull barrel, no fixed iron sights and a 4x32 scope. accuracy is problem as with most reviews that i have read of others. mount for scope is terrible even when loctited, scope is blurred around edge field of view but is a cheap scope. trigger has tons of creep. i bought new scope and rings and loctited, now accurate-however still have a few fliers, suspect the more shooting it will settle in. the air rifle itself is great with exception of trigger and if just had come with iron sights could have been fairly accurate right away.Pros:
synthetic stock , gas pistonCons:
trigger, scope/mountsI would recommend this item to a friend.

Answer:
Small game....By that i mean rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, moles, mice, crows, etc....Super accurate to about 200'. I got mine for squirrels and chipmunks that are chewing up our bird feeders.
Shots from 50' to 200' rarely miss.

I have I hunted a variety of small game, squirrel, chipmunks, field mice, and even a close range woodchuck (20 yards). I think this gun is the best spring/ nitro piston gun I have onwed (5 total) for small game. It is extremaly accurate and I reguraly shoot 2''x2'' targets at 50 yards with a 4-16x50mm scope. I really think this gun has enough power for a woodckuck, like I said. I have dispatched many of animals and highly advise you to shoot some small game (squirrel is delicious). ;)By James from selah,wa on February 18, 2012

Answer:
This rifle has a prefilled gas piston chamber in place of a spring chamber, the gas is sealed in and should never need to be refilled.By Shaun from Secunda, South Africa on May 17, 2012
