Even though FPS rates may look the same from brand to brand, that may not always be the case. Hatsan tests this rating using lead pellets, but most competitors use lighter aluminum alloy pellets. What this means for you is that your Hatsan Model 125TH Mossy Oak Breakup Camo .22 Air Rifle w/ 3-9x32mm Scope will deliver more knockdown power than an alloy-tested airgun with the same FPS rating. Hatsan airguns offer specialty features that come standard within the product line to provide shooters with a better shooting experience.

.25 is an accurate hammer.

I put 350 pellets through this rifle in less than 3 weeks. To me, it's fun to shoot. It will make you laugh out loud with it's power and accuracy. It hits with authority. I am a big guy so cocking it is no problem. Mine likes the 25gr. Diabolos. The stock is nice. The trigger has not smoothed out yet but gets better every day. I knew the scope would be junk and was not surprised when it would not hold a zero within 20 pellets after mounting. It rattles inside. I didn't knock off a star for that. Or because, if you use all the stock inserts for length of pull, the supplied screws will be too short. You'll need two 2 1/2 inch #10 screws. I gave it four stars because of the open sights. This is a serious field rifle or could be. If your listening Hatsan, drop the bundled scopes, loose the fancy knobs and exposed fiber optics plastic sights. That stuff is for papper. This is a hunting rifle. In a hunting caliber. Give me some simple, solid open sights that can be taken into the bush and can hold their zero, and sling mounts.
Well built. Rewards solid marksmanship skills with very repeatable accurate shots. Powerful, very powerful. The stock is comfortable. Seems the balance point and weight was made for a big guy. Good max length of pull. Makes you want to shoot it until you ache.
Bundled scope is wasted raw materials. Sights, akin to hanging fragile, colored beads on an otherwise well built tank. Installed sights work well for shooting paper but not robust enough for the woods. All serious rifles need sling mounts.

The gun out performs the cost via speed, foot pounds of energy and accuracy.

I purchased this gun for teaching my grandchildren gun safety and hunting. I was extremely impressed with the build and performance of this gun. I was getting 1/2 inch groups out to 75 yards. We stacked the pellets at 20 yards. Sufficient power for day or night pest control. This rifle will humanely harvest feral hogs with a brain cavity shot. I have done this out to 50 yards so far. Very happy with the weapon. Great buy.

This is the first .25 cal. that I have owned and am loving it so far. Have not had the chance to put alot of pellets through it but so far I have no complants about it. My son was out shooting it with me and he has now decided that he wants one asap. The only thing that I am going to change on it is the scope, but that will be later. I bought it for hunting this winter and will write a new review once I get to go. Would like to have more info about changing the spring piston to a gas piston.
Power Power Power Love the feel of the stock.
Scope, and it does wear a person down after shooting it for awhile.

I have the 0.25. Fit and finish is excellent and the Mossy Oak is very nice. My best pellet is the Baracuda Hunter Extreme. Gave 694 ave FPS after broken in. Initially there was a lot of honking when I would cock it so I wanted to disassemble to lube it. The honking went away after this. Actually a lot of it went away with some RWS chamber lube before disassembly. I took it apart and found the piston seal to be in good shape. No metal shavings that others reported. I had only a slight increase in power with the new piston seal and new lube. I found the inside to be very well made. The safety and everything else inside is all metal. The only part of the safety that is plastic is the part you see and push on. It is all metal under the plastic and all metal inside. I then took it apart again and put 3 metal washers on top of the spring in the piston. This added a fair amount of power. Now 728 FPS with the Baracuda HE which is 33 FPE. Accuracy is good. Trigger is very good. Breaks cleanly and consistently. The trigger itself is nice, wide, and made of steel. Tru glo sights are very good. The knobs on the rear site are metal and the adjustments are fairly crisp clicks. It is a little heavy but weighted nicely. This stock does not seem hollow ( even if it is ). Blueing is good except for the barrel. I would have given this 5 stars except I just received the 135 and it is much better. The 135 after breaking in( and no tuning ) it is firing the Baracuda HE's at 777 fps ave ( 38.8 FPE ) - WOW! No honking.
Power, trigger, value, Mossy Oak
My barrel developed surface rust over the whole length after leaving in the case in the garage over 2 nights. I know I shouldn't leave it like this but no other part rusted. This was easily fixed and came out beautiful with Casey Perma Blu and some steel wool. Not as powerful or smooth as my 135. Came with dry spring, needed lube.

I purchased this HATSAN 125th combo back in October and from the moment I took it out of the box and held it in my hands this rifle felt heavy and unbalanced after about fifty rounds I fired the next round went off with a loud cracking noise when I opened the barrel I could see the breach seal came out of it after another 40 or 50 rounds the same thing happened and at that point this rifle was shooting all over the place I also had a problem with 1 of 3 pins located to the rear of the barrel falling out of it at that point I knew this rifle was defective, I called Airgun Depot and to their credit they were absolutely fantastic the way they handled this for me they even sent me a prepaid shipping label to return the rifle to them within 5 days from the time I sent it back they gave me a full refund I highly recommend Airgun Depot if you are considering purchasing an air rifle their prices are unbeatable and their service is second to none.
The price was cheap BUT I quickly learned you get what you pay for!
Very Heavy and Bulky hard to keep balanced in your hands. Be prepared for a lot of recoil enough that after 20 shots fired your shoulder will hurt. I would sight it in to hit bulls eye and after 2 shots it would start shooting all over the place I found this to be the most inaccurate air rifle I have ever shot.

Just took this out of the box this weekend, in the woods for something to plinker with, at camp when we weren't shooting the big stuff. Everybody started laughing at me when I pulled out a pellet gun until I started shooting it! No one could believe how powerful it was. After zeroing the scope at 10 yds, I was shooting the caps off of bottles @ 50 yds WITHOUT HAVING TO ADJUST FOR DISTANCE OR CROSSWIND, THAT'S HOW HARD THIS GUN SLINGS LEAD (Crosman Premier 14.3s)!!! I wasn't hitting anything @ 50 yds at first b/c I was adjusting for wind and distance until I just aimed dead on and hit a small full bottle of Gatorade so hard that it exploded and flew 5 ft in the air, like you put an M-80 in it! Laughed our A's off. This gun is dead on ACCURATE, not crazy about the scope. it is definitely on the replacement list. Gun is probably a good call if you have kids because they won't be able to cock it or hold it up to aim it. I had a lot of laughs making fun of friends trying to cock it after a few times. Really that's the only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 because it's twice the weight of a 30 06 and would need a sling, if your going to be carrying it through the woods all day. I have a couple of other Air Rifles I like but I'll be grabbing this one from now on. I really wanted to get this in .25 cal. but pellet accessibility (Walmart/box store) and cost (4 time .22 long rifle) made me stick with .22 cal.
Heavy HITTING powerful gun Dead accurate Good looking quality gun doesn't look like a toy.
Needs to go on a diet Scope & gun in different tax brackets
