Even though FPS rates may look the same from brand to brand, that may not always be the case. Hatsan tests this rating using lead pellets, but most competitors use lighter aluminum alloy pellets. What this means for you is that your Hatsan Model 135 .25 Caliber Walnut Stock Air Rifle will deliver more knockdown power than an alloy-tested airgun with the same FPS rating.Hatsan airguns offer specialty features that come standard within the product line to provide shooters with a better shooting experience.

Hatsan Unique Features:

Quattro Trigger: (GOLD) Advanced gold plated two-stage match trigger only available from Hatsan
Shock Absorber System (SAS): Reduces vibration and increases the life of the gun, optics, and accessories
TruGlo® Fiber Optics: Microadjustable rear sight and front sight to lend more accuracy to every shot
Triopad Butt System: Maximum recoil absorption for added comfort and three stock spacers for appropriate length of pull adjustment
Dual Accessory Rail: Rail with scope stop that accepts 11mm (Dovetail) and 22mm (Weaver) scope mounts
Safety: A drop safety interlock device has been incorporated to eliminate the possibility of the airgun accidentally firing if it’s dropped (whether or not the safety is on)

Disappointed
August 12, 2014
I perchased this gun based on many reviews and videos. I wanted to have a powerful springer that will last. Initially I was very excited when I pulled it out of the box. Looks are better than its pictures and feel is great. Hard to cock but that was expected. The accuracy is the one that got me frustrated. Took my time considering break in period, worked on my hold, selected best pellets and more. Spoke to customer service before return time expired and decided to give it more time and not return. The best pellets I was able to make any reasonable groups were RWS superdomes and super-H-points. Those were predictable at 2-3" groups at 20 yards. Shooting JSB or H&M (any) made no sense with pellets missing 6" targets consistently and going in all directions. Then after couple more weeks a thick metal bolt which is part of SAS broke in half. I spoke to customer service again and contacted Hatsan USA for repair. Shipped the gun this week. As a side note the only other time I had a major break like that was with Webley gun made by Hatsan.
Pros:
Looks, power, iron sights
Cons:
accuracy, poor quality control. Trigger is so-so.

Deserves 10 stars!!!!

This is the 0.25 cal. Walnut stock is beautiful and weighted nicely though slightly heavy. Trigger is very good. Open sights are nice. They are plastic but the knobs are metal and clicks are crisp. Tru Glo are nice. Accuracy is very good. POWER IS INCREDIBLE out of the box. This thing is a real BEAST and I find it very smooth, not much spring vibration with all of this power. After 50 shots I started to chrono it. Best pellet is the Baracuda Hunter Extreme. Average of 777.03 fps ( 38.08 FPE ). WOW!!!! The 25.39 Exact pellets: ave 796.88 fps for 35.81 FPE. FTT pellets (19.91 gr) 891.67 fps for 35.16 fpe. Regular Baracuda's ( 31.02 gr) 726.07 fps for 36.32 FPE. I am totally amazed by the power and how smooth/ accurate it is with all that power. This is nicer than other brands that cost more than twice as much-. AND this one is the most powerful spring gun in production.
Pros:
POWER!!!!! Walnut stock, trigger. Value!!!
Cons:
Sling swivels would be nice. I am using a Gamo Gun Buddy and it is surprisingly good. A muzzle break like the 125 would be nice too. Makers underestimate the power in their description!!!! This shoots way past 750 fps even with heavies!!!

Massive power very accurate
February 21, 2014
I am more then pleased with this rifle. This is my first .25 cal. I have owned many pellet guns from a lot of makers and can tell you this is, hands down the best that I have ever bought. The normal break in period "100 to 200 rounds" before you see any accuracy didn't seem to apply with this rifle. A few clicks wind-age and elevation and was putting them hole in hole at 33 ft. I have to say. If you've never owned a .25 before and are looking for a well crafted rifle that will last. This is just the thing! I bought four diff. Pellets with this rifle. Poly mags, H&N field target, rockets and exact. All of them preform awesome in this rifle at this range 10 meters. I will also tell you that I am very hard to please on finding a product and services that I can depend on. And have been more then happy with both this company as well as this Hatsan 135
Pros:
Extreme power and accuracy Heavy solid rifle Not a fan of finer optic sights. But best that ive seen to date Out of the box hole in hole Hits wicked hard
Cons:
Thus far. N/A

Powerful .25!!!
January 21, 2014
I have had my 135 model .25 for a year now. I agree with the persons rating saying it kicks? What do people mean like my 7mm Remington? I have a scope on mine 3-12x44 and it is DEADLY!!! Also it is ever so accurate at LONG range......................................................
Pros:
Everything is just fine with me except the weight when carrying it around on hunts.
Cons:
Maybe just the weight carrying it around. My good quality rifle sling takes care of that. That to me is the only con i can find and only reason for the 4 i gave it.

Bad Rifle
November 17, 2013
The Rifle has the Power no question about that. The problem is the recoil of the spring Piston and the vibration it makes the Scope not to be accurate. With out a Scope and using just the sites is good. The one they send me also had some problem with the safety Lever, was the reverse. Push in Safe, Pull out ready to shoot . Now that, I did NOT like it at all. I am sending the Rifle back.
Pros:
Power, Wood Stock. Steel material.
Cons:
Scope Stop, Vibration, recoil.

Power Power Power
January 4, 2013
I purchased this air rifle for two reasons: power and accuracy. So far it's delivered on both counts. I've seen people say it kicks too hard and is too long and heavy but, it's an ADULT airgun. Keep that in mind. As for "kicks like a mule," not at all. I guess I'm used to firearms that do kick like a mule.
Pros:
Price for features, quality, and power unmatched.
Cons:
Nothing
