These pellets weigh about 16.5 grains. I have a Gamo Hunter Extreme and a Gamo Socom Tactical. The Hunter is rated at 1650 max feet per second, the Socom at 1250 max feet per second. From reviews I read, I was hoping the Hunter would have good accuracy with these heavy pellets. I'm sure with these pellets, the power is similar to the 22 caliber Hunter Extreme. Unfortunately, I find that these pellets give approximately a 3 inch group at 20 yards with both air rifles, which is unacceptable. The Socom gets 1/2 inch groups with the RWS Superdome pellets. The Hunter is not fully broken in yet, and it is getting 1 inch groups with the Superdome pellets.
Pros
Power and penetration.
Cons
Very poor accuracy.
Very accurate and stopping power I made it go through a 2x4 board.
Pros
Penetrating power, accuracy
Cons
None
Expensive ammo $17 per tin of 200 pieces!?? Yes they are accurate at short range, have not tried long range yet. My Brocock Compatto likes them, they shoot good 20 to 25 yards, still have do longer distance testing with these pellets.
Pros
Good accuracy, they pack a punch!
Cons
Too expensive for such small count, 200 in a $17 Dollar tin WOW! 500 Count tins would be better for the money.
