Is this sight suitable for a 22lr pistol?

Ordered in for pellet gun equipped with laser, mounted aligned with laser and continued shooting with either sight, 4Way reticle is nice, allows ballistic distance compensation, might just change it to a 22lr to use the best options of this sight. Refurbished scope and reduced price make this a no brainer

Better mounting rings would be nice, hard to line up those particular two piece rings.
