One heck of a deal!
June 11, 2014
Oh Ya Baby! This did the trick for me. I have a Gamo Big Cat 1250 .177 that has destroyed 3 scopes, the cheapo that came with it, a Simmons 4x32 and Barska 3-9x40. But this CenterPoint 3-9x40 seems to be holding up so far after a hundred shots. Until I got this scope my gun would shoot fairly accurate once in a while but then it would be erratic and put pellets all over the place. I was about to give up on springers and then I saw this refurbished scope for sale at a very low price. Took a chance on it and so far and I am happy with repeatedly grouping 5 consecutive shots and covering them with a dime at 30 yds. Then at fifty yards I just raise the scope up to the first mil-dot and bingo another 5 shots will group in the bulls-eye covered by a quarter. The condition of the scope was very good shape and seems to work perfectly. The elevation and windage knobs have very positive clicks so they stay put(no locking dial). There is no illuminated reticle as in the picture but I knew that from other posts. The scope is very clear but visual quality does go down a bit at 9X but is still good. The parallax adjustment is smooth and the numbers are accurate up to about 30 yards but at 50 yards I have to turn it to almost the 75yd setting to be parallax free. No big deal on the parallax numbers not being spot on. I've seen expensive scopes that were off. The quick eyepiece focus for the cross-hair is nice to. You will need fairly high scope rings to mount this on your gun probably. I used the mounts that came with my Gamo but had to put shims on the rings to raise the scope so to clear the objective. Has been working just fine for me. For 35 bucks this was a good deal and I am pleased with it so far. It's a nice looking scope too. Hope it holds up.
Pros:
Eyepiece fast focus, nice adjustments on everything, good clarity, solid and nice looking.

Can't tell difference from new
June 9, 2014
Very nice scope, especially for the refurb price. Can't tell a difference from new as not a scratch on it. Still zeroing in on a Crosman Nitro Venom .177 but at 1/2 inch groups at 30 feet already.. Would definitely recommend.

Not the droid I was looking for, move along!!
June 5, 2014
The scope sent to me didn't resemble the scope in the picture. I was looking for a side adjustable A/O like the one in the pic. This is the scope the Benjamin Trail comes with. Not a bad scope for the money, but not what was pictured and I already have a bug buster. I once owned a Benji Trail and these come as standard equipment on the Trail.
Pros:
Well packaged and sent quickly
Cons:
Scope pictured was not the scope sent

Great entry level scope
June 4, 2014
This does not match the picture advertised. It is is not illuminated at all. This scope has a nice clear picture and the Adjustable objective works great. It comes with weaver rings though, so if you have dovetails be sure to order some with this scope or an adapter.
Pros:
Price is great

functional but flip of a coin
May 19, 2014
Got the scope in working condition, but dirty and not refurbished to any degree of their refurbs sold by AGD.
Pros:
For the price it works, how long is the question?
Cons:
Scope that I received is not the one in the picture, mine has two terrets and no iluminated reticle knob. My scope came with weaver mounts that were had rusty screws and were missing the inner anti-skid felt. The scope also has scratches that were covered with black magic marker. As for the lens they were dirty or just plain filthy- good luck that they cleaned ok for this would have been the deal breaker. I have bought refurbs before and this scope is an exception to the general good quality of refurbs from AGD. Bought a RWS 48 refurb from AGD a while back that was mint,so I figure this scope is a slip.

Pros:
Clear sight!!
Cons:
No locks. But I've had no problems with them moving at all. And you will need 11mm dovetail mount, comes with weaver mount.

refurb centerpoint
April 5, 2014
Great scope. Takes a beating from springers. Ajustable objective, nice crisp picture, 25feet focus, solid built, and cant beat the price. Would recommend
Cons:
Mine had little specs inside the front lens. Should have been caught by inspection before they let it out the door. Doesn't effect the view in any way, just a little irritating.

Centerpoint 3-9x40
March 18, 2014
This scope is good but it does not have any locks for the turrets it's can easily be moved accidentally, this is bad because if accidentally moved it can throw you off zero unknowingly, even the cheapest scope selling today comes with lock turrets why not this one

Sweetness
March 12, 2014
I have a U-rex Surge, a little $99 jobber that came with a Chinese made 4x32. As you might have guessed, it (the scope) sucked. Fuzzy to fuzzier out towards the edges and was horrible in low light. So, needless to say I had to make a change. The problem is that you don't put a really nice piece of glass on a gun like the one I have unless......you get a screamin' deal on one. And baby is this a screamin' deal. I was really excited when I pulled it out of the box cause the scope was already mounted in the rings. I thought all I had to do was mount it to the gun. Wrong but no biggie. Apparently the ring bases that come with this scope do NOT fit the standard 11mm dovetail grooves (to wide). I had to use the rings that came with my rifle. Luckily they are just high enough to clear the bell (A/O lens) from hitting the breech. Which by the way, this is a freakin' nice scope. The fit and finish is flawless. I attached it to the rifle and made a few little adjustments and wow....what a difference. The clarity is stunning. I set up a dime sized circle on a target out at 10 yards. Horizontally, it was dead on. Three shots got it vertically sighted and the next three shots where all inside the dime. Moved the target out to 20 yards and the first three shots were a little high. Simple enough, a few clicks of the top turret and I was putting 8.8gr. copper plated .177 caliber Beeman FTS in one ragged hole. :-) I then proceeded to bait a little wood pile where I know a few live targets hangout. Set the ding donger up and waited. "Ding-Dong" rang through the garage and I grabbed the rifle. I could clearly see the little gray miscreant nibbling away on the bait. One shot, right below the ear, 18 yards, lights out. I grinned. It was low light by the way so I had to use my green flashlight. I've never been one to be impressed or felt the need for a lighted reticle but if I'm honest here, it would have made things just that much easier to align the shot. I bring this up because the scope you see in the picture is NOT the scope you get. The photo shows a third 'turret' on the left side that is usually the on/off switch for the lighted reticle. Mine did NOT have the lighted reticle. Again, no biggie since this wasn't really a selling feature for me to begin with but now I'm beginning to see the benefit. The specs list lens covers as being "flip open". Mine did not have these. Mine came with the removable clear/yellow lens caps. You know, the kind that are connected to each other with elastic string. Other than that, what you see on the photo is the same. I am really satisfied with this scope. Do I wish they had sent what they spec'd out and what you see in the photo? Sure but for the price and the clarity you get. I'm not gonna complain. Like I said, with the cheapo springer that I have, you don't put a nice piece of glass like this on it but I liked the price and thought, what the hell. I like it, I'm satisfied and vermin fear me now.
Pros:
$39 Not a cheap 'airgun' scope. It's $39 Looks and feels like a well built piece of equipment, because it is. IT'S $39 Glass is nice and clear. DID I SAY IT'S $39? Cause I think I said it's $39. Good mil-dot reticule.
Cons:
Not lighted as advertised No flip up lens covers as advertised.

Great value highly recomended
December 21, 2013
Was looking to test a refurb scope, I founded this one be good as new and comparable to the high end scopes, It holds it zero very well. I put over 100 rounds through on a Crosman Fury 2 with a Center Point one piece 1" high scope mount ; I found it super tight, accurate and clear sight picture. I am very pleased with this product. Crosman backs its refurb product and willing to purchase it again.
Pros:
Mil- Dot scope , Clear optics, it has tremendous feature of those of a high end scope.
Cons:
None , however the photo display shows a IR scope which is not included in the package it needs to be corrected.
