The Whisper Deluxe is a sharp-looking, sharp-shooting air rifle that incorporates ND52, a noise-reduction technology that makes it one of the quietest air rifles you can buy (52% quieter!). This spring-piston breakbarrel flings .177 cal PBA Raptor pellets at 1,200 fps. Lead pellets will deliver about 1,000 fps. The 3-9x40mm scope has standard reticle and a 1-piece scope mount. Features include auto-cocking safety, manual trigger safety, two-stage adjustable trigger, fiber optic front/rear sights and ambidextrous stock with twin raised cheekpieces. This is an upgraded stock from the standard Whisper. Special all-weather stock has checkered inserts in the grip & forearm! We measured the cocking effort and it was 35 lbs. Gamo lists it at 30 lbs., so it's likely that the cocking effort will diminish as the gun breaks in.
The scope is not mounted and bore-sighted, although the owner's manual may state this.
