Many people missed out
June 27, 2013
I bought the mauser break barrel thinking I could cut stock at thumb hole to make pistol grip be able to swing gun around under trees easier. It worked great except the gun is so powerfull it always passes through squirrels. If the humidity is low it goes ultra-sonic with 7.9 pellets. So I use super premiums 10.5 grain. I don't have a chrony but this is one strong gun. I have put 1500 or so rounds through it and it is strong as ever. I set a paint can with a coffee can inside it with old flip flops jammed in and CHP pellets go all the way through. Anyone that missed this deal should hope they have it again.
Pros:
As good a .177 break barrel as you can get for pest control. The 1200 fps on this is closer than most guns posting the same claim.Great circle site on it. THE PRICE. I have changed all other pellet guns to .22 . but will never give this one up.It might be some knock-off but who cares if it is better than most.
Cons:
I don't think this gun is good for scope. I have tried them on other springers and it isn't worth it. I always shoot open site because I need to hit pest around the barn fast so I use open sites. Don't care for dime size holes in cardboard. I'm sure you could with this gun, but if you can't hit a target fast what good is it? This is apest control gun !

accurate and powerful
December 4, 2012
Very good condition for a refurb, and a reasonable price. Once aligned properly, it is accurate and packs a good punch. It has great weight and looks/feels like it will last. The only problem I have noticed is randomly it will not fire with the same amount of force as usual. Most of the time is ok.
Pros:
Price vs performance. It looks and feels great.
Cons:
Random issue with inconsistent amount of power.

Best budget break barrel I've Had so far!
November 30, 2012
I have owned the hatsan 1000s striker, the crosman nitro venom, and this refurbished gun. Out of the box, it out performs all of them. The build quality is there and it feels solid. The trigger is plastic however, seems durable. My first 3 shots were 35 ft with the open sites and the group was smaller than a quarter. To be so consistent out of the box was a nice surprise. I am happy with this buy and I hope there are upgrades available because this is a gun that would be fun to upgrade.
Pros:
Accurate Solid Attractive
Cons:
No automatic safety, careful with careless people! No parts manual or guide, just common safety instructions to a similar model.

Excellent For Just About Anything
November 25, 2012
I got this and the worst thing about it was the trigger. It was stiff and had a sharp edge that after about 50yrds cuts into my finger. The stock also has a sharp edge that did the same thing to the top of my thumb but after some sand paper and a Dremel with a felt wheel and polishing compound and a GRT III trigger it is one of the best .177's I've ever owned. I put 9 shots through my Chronograph, 3- Beeman HP's, 3- Beeman Pointed , and 3- Crossman HP''s all about 7.3g and it averaged 1056fps. I've had guns 4X the price not give me the results this has. I would not hesitate to buy this gun again even at 2X the price. All you need is a GRTIII trigger and a descent scope and it will shoot with the best of them!
Pros:
Short Light Accuracy
Cons:
Trigger Seams in the plastic stock

Mauser - accuracy not good
November 24, 2012
I bought the Refurbished Mauser from the daily deal a few weeks ago. The accuracy has been poor. Compared to my Remington Airmaster 77 (bought at Airgun Depot), the accuracy of the Mauser is about five times worse. For example, yesterday I shot a five shot group at 17 yards with both the Airmaster and the Mauser. Four of the five shots from the Remington were grouped in one ragged hole, with one flier about a half inch away. The group on the airmaster consisted of four shots spread by about 1 1//5 inches, with a third shot about 2 1/2 inches away. In my opinion, this is not acceptable accuracy. I gave the Mauser two stars rather than one because at least when you pull the trigger a pellet comes out of the barrel. Let's hope an exchange for a better unit is possible.
Pros:
Easy to cock Powerful Decent ergonomics Bargain price
Cons:
Poor accuracy Waste of money, given that accuracy is poor.

First Pellet Rifle
November 8, 2012
As a newbie in the air gun hobby I am cautious about what I get and how much. I just purchased the .177 Mauser 1200 FPS and I cannot be more pleased at the price, product, weight and feel. So far the quality of my Mauser from Swiss Arms (ie Sig Sauer) is impressive. I can say that shooting this rifle is much more rewarding than my pistol. I hope to purchase more products in the future and I highly recommend this rifle to anyone on a budget and wants a Bad a_ _* rifle to shoot.
Pros:
Comfort Noise level Ease of cocking barrell Intimidating design Accuracy Safety position by trigger The look of glass sights
Cons:
That I may buy a more expensive rifle and my Mauser blows it away. Free Rifle cover is weak quality. Could have come with a cheap scope, 4x20 would work.

Mauser .177 Cal with soft case
November 6, 2012
This is really a nice gun. Much better than the Ruger Blackhawk. When I got it the condition was new, not refurbished. Cocking the gun is fairly easy and the open sights are excellent. It is made in China for Mauser. The Chinese are capable of making a decent air rifle and this is one of them. The trigger is two stage non adjustable and it is very nice. Another nice feature is a Weaver rail on the under side of the stock for mounting accessories. When you shoot it, you can tell it is very powerful. It's rated at 1000 fps and I would guess that the speed of the pellet is in the 800 to 900 fps range. At 10 meters, you can get bullseyes after a slight adjustment of the open sights.
Pros:
Open sights, trigger, stock and the overall finish of the rifle.
Cons:
Nothing
