Yes it will work just not full magazine if I remember correctly it was about 120 bb's on one 12 grm. cartridge. Then starts to peter out bb's not shoot them.

I have read those same reviews. As far as fit & finish, the Steel Storm I received is a quality item. But do keep in mind you get what you pay for. This gun is about $110 and in my opinion is worth every penny.

Yes it does @ 50ft no problem with full auto and tight group. Otherwise it will make bad bullseye type cracks.

Please never use a bb gun to dispatch a varmint unless it can be pumped to at least 900 fps. But a pellet gun is more suited for small varmint control. Okay Thanks. The Airgun Junky.

It just really doesn't work like that, but is pretty easy to just refill the tube. I'm with you though. Someone needs to work out the wind up systems, like for high cap airsoft mags. Would have to be made out of good materials for it to hold up to steel shot, instead of plastic..but that's the only thing I can think of to do it easily.

I used a hinge from a cabinet flat when closed. Pre drilled different holes for stock to be attached. Then ground down hinge pin to remove pin added spring type pin instead. So I can fold or pull pin and remove. Extra holes in hinge on side had to JB weld so weld glue would have stubs for solid purchase. Then sand away excess JB weld. Mine folds opposite magazine. I like it.

Yes, I jb welded a piece of angle and attached stock to that. But couldn't take gun apart. Ended up cutting the plastic around the angle to take apart.

William I don't know the decibel level but in the 6shot mode the gun makes a pretty loud and serious sound...it will draw attention for sure.

I had one do this after one load of gas and 299 bb's it stopped. I discharged it emptied the bb's, shock the heck out of it. Several minutes, then dropped it about 3 feet on worn out carpet. I heard a little click after. What the heck put one CO2 cartridge in and Viola it worked again. But before charging I put some pcp gun oil in the little hole by firing switch make sure it got on the cocking shaft so I would get inside the mechanism 5-7 drops worked the cocking lever several times and point gun down. Then drop on each cartridge. This what worked for me. I still use this oil for the Storm same lubing process every 10-15 magazine loads. Mine still works. Good luck. The Airgun Junky

It has a bit of both, but it is mostly plastic.

The internal gear box is metal but the exterior is plastic. This thing is too much fun for that slight lack of realism to bother me. I made a suppressor out of 1 inch PVC and just have it on with tension. I shoot it when I'm taking my breaks from work. I recommend this and the remote with the bulk adaptor. It's super cheap to shoot that way and you can spray steel all over the place

It wouldn't work like you'd want it to even if you made it full auto. The cartridges rapidly get cold and lose their power, even though they aren't empty When the cartridges get cold from too much rapid firing, you will see the first bb of a six round burst go farther than the next, with the last of six bb's going the slowest. Full auto would only exacerbate this issue. Pausing between 6 round bursts lets the cartridges warm back up and restore pressure. You would need a much bigger CO2 reservoir to fire on full auto. But for the money this gun is loads of fun. Everyone who shoots it loves it.

I have not done this, but there are you tubes that you can find that show you how. The guy is pretty cool with 6 at a time and you can pretty much pull the trigger again and again to get it close to full auto.

To convert from 6rd burst to full auto, you must take the gun apart and make some modifications. Check out the Youtube videos. Search Youtube "steel storm full auto mod"

Not an option per the manufactures statement of modification. The 300 BB reservoir can only feed into the 30 BB magazine with back and fourth rocking of the BB gun. I am able to empty my 30 shot magazine in 6 shot bursts as fast as I can pull the trigger. About 5 seconds.

The Steel Storm is a select fire single or 6 round shot. You cannot upgrade to full auto without altering the internal components of the gun. The internal clip will hold 30 rounds max.

The 30 rounds are built into the muzzle area. The gun has a 300 bb capacity, once you shoot the first 30, you reload from the reservoir another 30 bb's. the magazine clip only holds the two CO2 cartridges.

The Umerex Steel Storm has a built in 30 BB spring loaded magazine. The reservoir holds up to 300 BB's Because it is a built in magazine there is no option for an additional magazine. It takes about 45 seconds to refill the built in magazine from the 300BB reservoir.

The Steel Storm only has a built in 30 round compacity magazine (not removable) that you fill with the 300 round reservoir by opening the BB follower then shaking the gun until the 30 rounds are loaded in place. Once you shoot the 30 BBs, you have to repeat the loading process which is pretty quick. The mag looking part in the handle is actually only for the two 12g co2 cartridges that power the gun so you don't really need another one of these (you get about 300 shots per fresh load).

You only need the one as the magazine holds the CO2, not the bbs. When you are out of CO2, it takes about 2 minutes to change the cartridges. I looked online for you and I actually can't find where you would buy another magazine. You may have to special order it. Like I said, it may not be worth it. Just get yourself a bulk fill adapter a 20oz tank. You"ll shoot 6000 bbs without missing a TV show!!!

I don't believe their is an attachment for a larger tank, but I wouldn't swear to it. It would be nice if their was a bigger tank available as you will definitely go through some co2 cartridges .But the gun is a lot of fun to shoot so the cost of co2 is well worth it.

There is not an attachment for paintball tanks or accessories. The Umarex Steel Storm is a Co2 powered steel BB repeater or single action gun. This gun is not intended for paintball ammunition.

No need for batteries. I suggest to upgrade the bulk air adapter though. You have to strap a large co2 tank to you but it's worth the fun.

I have fired thousands of rounds and the only problem i have had is a leak in the co2at the top of the clip. i repaired it easily by removing the pins and cleaning the parts then re assembling it. i dont have one yet but i recommend getting the bulk fill adapter. I ordered mine today.

Seems pretty tough so far, although I have not shot it a ton. Probably shot at least 600 rds so far.

Did you break the old one? Unless it is broken, you really only need one CO2 mag. The BB resevior is in the gun itself, not in the mag. The mag only holds the CO2 cartridges.

I saw a youtube video where a guy put an Uzi folding stock on it. Problem is that in Kalifornia, you can't order an Uzi folding stock! As far as a suppressor, you would probably have to fabricate that yourself. It is not very loud and a suppressor probably wouldn't make it much quieter. It would maybe make it look cooler, but it would add weight and bulk to it as well.

If it is the clip that has the leak you can tighten it some by driving the pins at the top of the clip in a little farther or removing them and then putting it back together. if you drive them in tighter take care that they dont stick out the other side because the clip wont go back in. especially the center pin.

Put a small drop of Pellgun oil on the top of each CO2 cartridge in the future. Seals may be shot but there is a chance it could still work. Put Pellgun oil on all CO2 gun cartridges for any gun. Not sure if there is anything better on the market or not.

The magazine has a pin and spring, you pull the pin back and shake bbs into the magazine from the hopper. After you feel you have enough bbs you release the pin and the spring pushes the pin and bbs into the chamber one at a time.

Once you fill the gun's 'hopper' (it holds 300 BBs), you pull the magazine's spring-loaded lever all the way forward and lock it into place. Now you simply shake the gun vigorously for several seconds (I hold it an angle - almost on its side) until you see that the magazine is completely full (it holds 30 BBs). At this point, all you need to do is release the spring-loaded lever, which places tension on the 30 BBs and feeds them to your gun each time you squeeze the trigger. Loading the gun is very quick and easy once you get the hang of it.
