The Beast

By M.E. on June 29, 2011
The gun is extremely powerful and built very study. It's extremely fun to shoot and hold. The sights are excellent. The only setback is the gun is a little loud but hopefully it will quiet down after shooting more rounds. My gun came in perfect condition even though its refurbished.so impressed

i purchesd a remand walther 17 cal. and it was a sent back as with a deffect however the one i got in exchange is badass i am shooting through the side of a stove and at thirty yards the pellets travel right through stops about 2 feet behind the target and the pellet is just destroyed this air gun is fantastic and is a fine piece of workmenshipnice gun

i love the gun the only thing i can complain about is the scope it sucks after 6 shots i have to tightin the mounts and resight the scope in to hit any thing the rifle is superburb though i love this remand airgunI really like this gun?

Alittle Heavy and alittle loud, but it is really accurate and a pride to my collection. It needs a better scope, but once you put on your choice of scope (make sure it is a pellet gun scope due to heavy recoil). I'm sure you will agree. NICE .177 PELLET GUN. I already have it's bigger cousin the Falcon Hunter .22 cal. and the same comments on that one. I might have the crosman nitro upposed to the spring piston due to the noise and recoil. If it works out well, I will do the same to the talon. Couldn't tell that either one was referbished.Only Refurbished !

To but airguns from airgun depot, I always prefer to by refurbished if it's available, I really like talon, powerful and accurate, and the light trigger ! maybe someone tuned before shipped to me.Review Part 2

This is a follow-up to my first review of my refurb rifle's condition. I wanted to add a few comments about the rifle itself. Things to note: This gun is actually made in Turkey by Hatsan. The powerplant is excellent, bluing is nice and the gun is very accurate. I only have one other springer to compare it to (a Stoeger X20) but this gun requires a lot of effort to cock. The gun is also quite loud, it will definitely alert the neighbors that you are shooting it! The stock is a bit slimsy. The trigger, guard and safety are all plastic. I was disappointed with the scope and mounts. However, with the money I saved buying refurbished, I bought a CenterPoint 4x16x40 Adventure series scope which works great on this rifle. I would buy this rifle again in a heartbeat and I intend to get the Falcon version too.Thinking of buying refurnished?

By D on October 8, 2009
I was intrigued by the advertised power of this air gun and some reviews I read online. I bought one here "refurbished." This is how mine arrived: In the original box. The styrofoam inserts were there but a bit cracked. All documentation, accessories, etc. were there. I looked the rifle over - I found one tiny crack in the right-hand side of the stock. Other than that - the gun looked perfect (and I had to look HARD to find the crack). Cleaned the barrel and found very light lead fouling from a few pellets. So, I cleaned up the rifle using Gunzilla and everything cleaned up fine. In short: great gun, great value and I saved a lot of money. I would buy another refurnb air gun from AirGun Depot without hesitation. Great way to get the product you want and save some money at the same time!Walther Talon Magnum Air Rifle - .177 Caliber - 1200 FPS!

I have had the for a month or so and I really love it. It shoots well and places the bullet in a nice pattern. Loud for an airgun but it is nice and a good buy for the money.
