Great Rifle <> Very Accurate
May 4, 2014
For Less than 200 Bucks, this gun is phenomenal, But, The scope that comes with it is a injustice to the Rifle, it is the lowest of the low end scopes, buy a decent scope when you buy the rifle, the scope mount rail system is number one for this gun, no problems with scope slide with this this one, the gun is very accurate, the quality is good, but could be better, trigger system has a good feel, trigger is plastic, metal would be better, stock is not very solid at the end where the barrel breaks, its kinda flimsy, and the trigger guard is molded in the stock, looks ok but speaks low quality, iron sights are good, the cocking linkage is not the best for a rifle that is as hard to cock (40 pounds of force), But it sends a lead pellet .22 cal. down the line at over a 1000 FPS with great accuracy, for the money its a good gun.
Pros:
accurate, good balance, good weight, feels good to shoot, very powerful, good looks and feel
Cons:
scope is very low end, stock could be better but is ok, all in all a good gun

Great good with an awful scope
January 15, 2014
This gun has quite the horsepower and quite the bang for the buck. The scope it comes with is terrible. As soon as I changed the scope it became a shooting machine and extremely accurate along with really fun to shoot now its loud and a bit heavy, the pull is a little stiff at first but it loosens up Its not for the timid
Pros:
Great Power Great price
Cons:
Loud so not good for a residential neighborhood and its heavier than expected The stock scope it comes with needs to be thrown away and you need to buy a real one

Great gun for the price
January 9, 2014
This gun has great potential. Straight out of the box it was fairly easy to sight in and after 50 shots is holding strong. The first 5 to 10 shots were quite loud and were definitely not appropriate for residential areas, but it did quiet down after 50 shots or so. This gun doesn't have a silencer like other models so it is going to be louder for certain. As with any air rifle purchase I removed the screws that might come loose one at a time and put non-permanent thread locker on them, but they all seemed to be properly installed from the factory. My only complaint with this gun is that the trigger and safety are both plastic which may cause premature failure down the road. Otherwise I would give this rifle a four star. Especially for the price it's accuracy and power is right up there alongside rifles twice the price as this one.

great bang for the buck...yea, that was cheesy.
September 29, 2013
After the several hundred round break in period (not too bad). I'm getting sub dime sized groups at 25 yards with CPHP's. I tried synthetic pellets just curious to see if it breaks the sound barrier and it does, showing the gun gets close to its advertised velocity claim of 1200 FPS . After about six hundred rounds, my centerpoint adventure class 4-16x40 scope literally developed a stress crack on the tube and broke in half, proving this gun has plenty of power. To sum things up, for the price, this is a great RWS 350 P close for considerably less money. definitely a good value.
Pros:
Easy break in period, easy to cock despite what others have said. Great accuracy considering its a twitchy, hold sensitive magnum springer. Good solution for someone looking for a poor mans RWS 350P.
Cons:
I'm assuming the bundled scope? Not sure because I didn't try it. I think if this was available with a wood stock, they would fly off the shelf.

beast
June 27, 2013
I have targets hanging at 20ft,50ft.70ft.and 90ft.They are cans hanging on strings. When I first shot the 20ft and 50ft they hardly moved. That is when you can tell a springer is strong. The 14.3 CHP went through so fast they hardly moved the cans and blew out large holes in the back.I have had to make better targets because this beast destroys them. First squirrel was a head shot and only 1/3 of his head remained. A couple times a week I take my air guns through the four distance cycle with open sites to keep sharp and this is the strongest critter gitter I have. I have large open area behind my targets. Make sure you have a good backing on targets. I believe this could go through some fences. It is close to a rimfire in power.
Pros:
Great gun for price. I like open sites and these are good. The power is as good as you can buy for under $200. I use RWS usually and pretty accurate. I also use CHP and they are almost as good. I only tried hyper velocity a few times and was afraid I might ruin spring (those hypers might still be flying)
Cons:
I don't like scopes too much as they are too hard to see target with shadows. I sited in this scope and was making bullseye holes in paper. I use a lift gun ,point and shoot method to hit targets amd so I took scope off. I believe the recoil of this gun would mess up the scope. I am 61 and it is no problem to cock this springer, but I an also 6ft 3, 220. My grandson is 6ft 2 and kind of thin although he is a HS baseball pitcher he couldn't cock this magnum.

Powerful gun
April 10, 2013
Best Air Rifle I have ever seen for the price. I would give it more stars if I could.
Pros:
Everything
Cons:
It is a little bit too loud to fire in a residential area. This gun is very hard to cock in the beginning, You have to pull the safety out very far and slap behind the muzzle to cock it easily.

Great gun
March 19, 2013
Bought a .177 refurbished one for 99 bucks. Definitely a steal. Lots of power and accuracy. Changed the scope to a Centerfire 3-9x40 making it easier to take out any pesky varmints on my property.
Pros:
Power and accuracy shoots like a real rifle.
Cons:
The rear adjustable sight but doesn't matter when using a scope.

Pros:
Plenty of take down power Great for hunting Very accurate
Cons:
Screws come loose Front sight was cockeyed Truglo strips come out after shootin it a few times Heavy

Powerful rifle!
January 16, 2013
This rifle is good quality, powerful, and accurate. The scope that is matched with it has a hard time with the recoil from this powerful a spring piston gun. It tends to loose zero and eventually break. I have heard you should break the gun in with 100 rounds before mounting the scope.
Pros:
Rifle Power Accuracy
Cons:
Scope

Perfection achieved by Ruger
January 11, 2013
I received my new Air Magnum 3 weeks ago and waited to write this review until I had put about 300 pellets through it for break in purposes. Turns out that this wait was unnecessary as about the only change I have noted is that the rifle quieted down after about 50 shots. Right out of the box, it has been a hard hitting and very accurate shooter that appears indifferent with regard to pellet profiles. I removed the scope during the break in period and as you can see from the attached target the rifle leaves little to be desired even when shooting with it's barrel mounted open sights. I was making 2 inch groups at 50 yards on open sights. Should you decide to purchase one of these air cannons I strongly recommend applying loc-tite blue on everything accessible that has threads as this rifle packs a screw loosening punch with every pull of the trigger. I am going to mount a BSA Majestic 4X24 scope to this rifle to take it to it's full potential. I suppose if one were going to limit shooting to 25 or so yards the scope that comes with the rifle would suffice but with this rifle's capability, shooting it with a 4X scope is an injustice.
Pros:
Price, power, accuracy, and consistency.
Cons:
Came out of the box with loose mounting (stock to receiver/barrel) screws.

My Favorite in my collection
January 3, 2013
This was the last rifle I had bought, and I have to say it is amazing. I can shoot tight groups with this gun. How tight? How about 20 shouts in the size of a penny. The only down side to this gun is cocking it. You have to somewhat strong to cock it.
Pros:
It shoots true.
Cons:
It can be hard to cock.

Ruger magnum air
June 26, 2012
I purchased a.177 model and love it! It loves being fed 10 grain pellets anything lighter are all over the place.I can easily snipe lizards at 30-40yds and squirrles 90-100 yds!! It can punch holes in steer signs and coins! Add a laser/light combo and it owns the night!
Pros:
Power! Scope is nice, accuracy is excellent! Hide the jiffy! Rats beware!
Cons:
Loose fasteners! Clean and lock tight everything!
