The quality of the airgun is excellent...kind of what you would expect from a German quality airgun. I can't speak to the accuracy yet because I haven't been able to sight it in, but I fired a few pellets. This is probably the loudest air rifle I have ever fired but it is also very powerful with 1250 ft/sec. The rifle is a little on the heavy side so beware of that.
Surprised by weight and quality

This is a great combo for small varmit hunting. I have not yet killed anything bigger than a squirrel. I think this is a fantastic quality rifle. I can€™t imagine something better though there are some others that are a lot more money. It is very accurate. If I rest it on something I can do a quarter-sized spacing consistently from 30-50 yards with Beeman FTS pellets. I bought 500 Beeman FTS pellets because they are rounded on the end and somewhat heavy. Light pellets tend to tumble at the velocity this gun is capable of. I also bought the #FSI 3173 €œfield/hunting pack€ which is a nice assortment of pellets to try. From what I have read and experienced, the pellet shape and weight has a great affect on accuracy. I sighted my rifle in with the Beeman FTS pellet. I also bought a muzzlebrake which makes for a nice handle when you cock it. This arrangement weights a whopping nine pounds, 12 ounces! This is not a "girlie" rifle! I feels like you are carying a .223 hunting rifle! With the scope, which is very nice, it has great accuracy and blows right through squirrels. Having had a pump-up Crossman.22 cal. pellet gun, as a teenager, I can say that there is no comparison. This is a real gun! I highly recommend it if you don't mind the heft of it.
