The most popular rifle sold by RWS, this German rifle will keep you shooting
accurately and powerfully for decades. While it doesn't have some of the frills
that more expensive guns have, it goes head-to-head where it really counts!
The well-balanced hardwood ambidextrous stock makes it easy to hold and shoot
the RWS 34, and the raised cheekpiece gives you that extra edge. Quality is
evident in other places, too: a two-stage adjustable trigger, a completely adjustable
rear sight and a finely rifled barrel. No need to worry about cocking difficulty,
as that's where this rifle really shines (just 33 lbs.). Both calibers are ideal
for plinking, paper targets and spinners. If you're a serious air gunner on
a budget, the RWS 34 was made for you! RWS is known for standing behind their
guns, and their warranty has always been viewed as the best in the business.

I'm new to air rifles, but not firearms. After a great deal of looking I figured this was a safe bet for a premium air rifle with scope and rings. I've had it for a week and put 200 rounds through it. Very nice rifle, good scope and the mount is holding fast with no sign of movement. I can hit a tin can every time at 25 yards and I'm looking forward to both my self getting accustomed to air rifle shooting and the gun breaking in. Highly recommended by a newby.
Pros:The scope is clear, bright and the mount strong. I was worried about the scope mount with on line purveyor of airgun wisdom running the RWS scope mount down. Seems to be holding fast for me. The gun is heavy compared to 22 rimfire but that was expected. I'm happy with having the Model 34 after strongly considering the Model 48 which I now believe would have been to much gun for me at this stage in my air gun experience. My gun was not dry at all and well lubricated as delivered.
Cons:Wish it were a bit quieter, but it's still not that bad. Likely about the same volume as a 22 CB Cap round through a rifle.
