In my Hatsan 85p Sniper ( spring piston ) rifle, these pellets preformed exactly like Michael's review below. They grouped very well out to 10-15 yds. Past that distance, some began to tumble. At 35yds they struck the target and 4ft by 4ft backstop randomly with some striking sideways.--75 shots were fired. --- In my Hatsan Edge Vortec rifle, they produced a 3/4in by 1 1/5 inch ragged hole and 6 zinger hits.- 150 shots were fired. 4 of the zinger hits were within the 3in target circle. 2 of the zinger hits were outside the 3in ring by 1/2 inch and 1 1/4 inches. They produced large wound channels from both guns, fired into in clay blocks, set out at 15yds. I would give these pellets an averaged over all score of 4 stars. 1-2 stars in the 85P sniper and in 3-4 stars in the Vortec Edge. The large wound chanels I would rate at the 5 star level. I would only recommend these pellets with the following reservations.-- Buy 1 container of 75 and try them out yourself.---The length of these pellets might be a problem in some types of air guns.-- I consider the effective range of both of my guns to be 25 to 35 yards.
Pros
Good in one gun -- Large wound chanel damage at short range.
Cons
Not so good in a second gun.
Poor quality control. Supposed to be .25 caliber but is about a thousandth off in diameter, allowing pellet to freely fall through hatsan torpedo .25 cal
Pros
None
Cons
Everything about it is bad for Hatsan .25
Very well made. Consistent weight and size. Hit very hard. Unfortunately in my hatsan 125 they began to tumble at 15 yards. One hole at 10 yards, 5 inch at 25.
Pros
Well made. Awesome expansion. Cheap enough to experiment.
Cons
Not very accurate in my gun, but may work in yours.
These pellets are long in length but are too narrow in the center of the pellet to fit snugly in rotary hatsan clips. The rings don't grab enough of the skirts but do load well in my talon magnum.
Pros
Massive hollowpoint cavity for devastation towards prey and pests. It is also packed with foam inserts on the top and bottom of the plastic tin.
Cons
Too narrow for rotary clip and accuracy falls off at 30 yrds.
Well, they're heavy and .25 caliber.
Pros
Heavy grain and hollow point Reasonably priced Great quality container Very little mold "flashing"
Cons
Tumble a lot Don't expand unless hitting metal targets (bone and wood just punctured)
