The S&W M&P (military & police) R8 looks & feels like the firearm it copies. If you use airguns to maintain proficiency with handguns, you'll want to get this gun! If you enjoy shooting revolver air guns, you've probably noticed that there aren't that many of them. If you're looking for your first revolver, this would be an ideal one to get. The price is well below what you'd pay for most other models, and is inexpensive to shoot because it uses steel BBs instead of lead pellets.

very nice revolver

I read reviews on all products before I buy them and bought the revolver because of the positive things customers had to say about it. I'm a weapons repair specialist with 30 yrs of experience so i thought the heck with the warranty and opened her up and i was impressed with the design. I lightened up the action by polishing the operating parts and now, wow, you do not have a struggle to just get her to cock on single action and I brought the trigger cocking down to where it is fun, great design and if you shoot it enough the action will wear in, i just did not want to wait. co2 and bb loading is super easy. as others said, I would like to buy more cylinder inserts but I just cannot find them. I hope everyone enjoys theirs as much as I do. she is very quiet and you will get a lot of rounds per cartridge.
Pros:
very accurate and loading is a breeze.
Cons:
hard action that will become much nicer with use.

No surprizes!

This is truly a fun gun. For a change, I found a product that completely lives up to what it has been advertized to do. Your specs and description were on target. The plastic shell was more than made up for by a solid performance. The gun really got its bang for the buck in co2 charges. I was getting 3 inch groupings even from 35 ft away and I was amazed by the velocity. It's just plain fun in every respect including appearance. Down to the last detail it looks like its namesake.

this was better than i expected it to be. for a fully plastic gun, it had a good weight and feel. its also quite accurate. and compared to my other bb pistols, its quiet, which was a plus for me since my neighbors get annoyed easily. however its far from perfect. the trigger action is terrible. shooting double action it catches so much its impossible to aim right, and even single action isn't smooth. but other than that, its a good gun, and worth buying if you want a revolver.
Pros:
accuracy quietness good feel it actually revolves unlike the crosman break barrel 'revolvers'
Cons:
wish it wasn't plastic horrible trigger
