Socom Extreme .22 cal
January 22, 2012
Receved gun in the mail and was vary impressed after opening the the box gun is vary well made, found no flaws or or Problems with the gun. Installed the scope and got it all trued up, started sighting it in a 25 yards, took only 4 shots to get it hitting The bull at 25 yards, moved it back to 50 yards and it was still hitting in the bull. Moved it back to 100 yards and took about 5 shots to get it to shoot a quarter size group. The easiest air gun I have ever scoped in.
Pros:
Fast and consistent shooting, comes with a nice and clear scope.
Cons:
Gun is kinda heavy for long distance walks..

THIS RIFLE IS THE BLOCK BUSTER OF GAMO. FOR POWER IN SPRING RIFLES LOOK NO FURTHER. ITS WOW ALL THE WAY WHEN YOU PULL THE TRIGGER. THE SCOPE IS SO SO BUT THE POWER PLANT MAKES MY DAY. ONCE YOU GET THE SCOPE SIGHTED IN ITS PRETTY ACCURATE SHOOTS A SODA CAN DEAD CENTER AT 40 YARDS. I HAVE A ACRONYM FOR THIS RIFLE: S.T.S.T.V.= SHOOT TEN SHOTS TAKE VACATION. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE IN SHAPE TO COCK IT- WELL OVER 50 POUNDS BUT WORTH THE EFFORT WHEN YOU PULL THE TRIGGER! SHOOT SUPER GOOD WITH THE GAMO 13.88 G & WITH THE CROSMAN PREMIERS 14.3 G. YOUR BUDDIES WILL CERTAINLY ENVY YOU ITS A PARTY.

Hi when will this model be available again? The .22 Gamo Socom Extreme
By Staff on April 16, 2012

Answer:
Hello,
Unfortunately, we ordered some of these from Gamo last year and never received our order. It is possible that they have discontinued this package.

Why is it a .22 cal. air rifle, yet it shoots a .177 cal pelet? What is the difference , in technical information
By Staff on December 5, 2011

Answer:
It shoots the ,22 pellet, there may have been a typo on the site about .177.

What is the best ammo to use for this gun? I live in Canada and the ammo you can get is limited. I can get crosman premier hollow points or pointed. I am pretty sure I can also get super point pellets. What is the best ammo of the three? What is the best ammo you can get at AGD? I will probably get some if I order this gun.

I'm looking for a rabbit hunting gun. Is this gun's stopping power good enough for your average bunny?
By Keith from Sheridan, Ca on May 3, 2012

Answer:
Yes this gun has plenty of knock down power for rabbits. I have dropped them up to 60 yards with mine with no problem.....
By Primo from Mayaguez Puerto Rico on July 12, 2012

Answer:
Get yourself the RWS 350 mag .22 and don't look back. For the money, the quality, dependability and power of the RWS is a no brainer. Good bye bunnies.
