The X10 is a European-style air rifle that offers state-of-the-art performance and power. Its reliable, spring-piston break-action with ergonomic cocking grip for easy charging give you the power to propel .22 alloy pellets at a potent 1000 feet per second. The straight-comb-style hardwood stock of the airgun is a hunter’s favorite. It is fitted with a rubber butt-pad for a solid shoulder mount and improved control. The rifled, blued steel barrel of the Stoeger X10 guarantees accuracy and years of service. It comes with standard fiber-optic front and adjustable rear sights. The fiber-optic inserts—single red front and two-dot, green rear—make target acquisition easy in varied light and weather conditions. All X10 receivers feature an integral dovetail scope-rail. For added security and control, the X10 features an automatic, ambidextrous safety mounted on the rear of the receiver. The trigger can be screw-adjusted for second-stage length. The handy X10 is ideal for plinking and all kinds of target shooting, and takes the field with sufficient power for pest control and small-game hunting.

I like this air rifle!
October 5, 2012
I am really enjoying my Stoeger X 10 22 cal. So far just plunking pop cans - lots of fun. I purchased the rifle without a scope because I wanted to revisit the challenge of shooting a pellet gun years ago (I don't remember the model other then it was made in Germany). However, I overlooked the fact that my eyes have changed over the last 45 years - so, now I wish I had purchased a scope as well. Thinking of doing that in the near future. This rifle is solid and powerful, and just the right weight for me.
Pros:
Power Seems to be well engineered and built Good weight (for me)
Cons:
Nothing so far, except I should have purchased it with a scope.

Good Rifle
August 21, 2012
This is a great rifle for plinking. Although the fps is not as fast as a .177 rifle, it is equally if not more fun. It is a little hard to cock, but gets easier after a while. The fiber optic sights are cool and easy to use. I did have some dieseling on the first few shots, so I cleaned the barrel and now its fine. I get quarter groupings at 30 yards, probably would be better with a scope. I did find that the skirting on the daisy .22 pellets is a little too large for this gun, however, the beeman hollowpoints fit perfectly. Overall, for the price, you can't beat it.

X10 is a great first time high power .22 rifle!
May 4, 2012
Bought from AGD, FAST SHIP! I bought it without scope, because I'm old school mainly. No problems sighting in. Round after round are very accurate! Amazing the power this thing has. Rifle is very heavy, but that will contribute to accuracy IMHO. I bought the black stock for all weather. I have yet to do anything but target shoot with it, but feel CERTAIN this would be an IDEAL rifle for small game hunting! Ive been using Benjamin hollow point pellets that I got locally, never any problem. I love the auto safety feature, and its very easy to take off and place on fire. I cant tell you how thrilled I am with this!
Pros:
Heavy solid & fully rifled barrel Single cock mechanism Safety location and function Accuracy Reliability Power
Cons:
No sling mounts

Stoeger X10 Well Worth the Money
February 23, 2012
This rifle has turned out to be far better then I expected it to be. I took it out of the box and in my basement at 55 feet shot less then 1" groups with the open sights. The gun is heavy but most air rifles are it seems like. The cocking mechanism is fairly heavy and the two stage trigger is long but not too the point that it cannot be shot accurately. I mounted a fixed 4 power scope on the rifle and it went to shooting 1/2" groups. It will occasionally walk a pellet but I write that off more to inconsistencies in pellets. Overall I am very happy with this rifle.
Pros:
Accuracy is very good, even with different types of pellets. Sights are very good. Trigger pull is long but very consistent.
Cons:
The gun is heavy and the cocking mechanism is on the high side if young people will be using it.

What is the effective range of this gun?

By Brian from Halifax, NS on January 9, 2012
I am looking to buy an air rifle to protect poultry from raccoons and I see this is the lowest priced .22 cal air rifle with 1000 FPS. Any thoughts? I would prefer having a gun with a larger magazine in case I need to take a second shot!
By frank mcfarland from toledo, ohio on January 10, 2012

Answer:
this air rifle is a great value priced under 100.00 I own this rifle only gone shooting two times , once you sight it in it is accurate. . for the money you can't go wrong
By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on February 11, 2012

Answer:
It won't take a raccoon unless you are within 15yds of it.
By Chevota from CA on May 9, 2012

Answer:
All these spring guns are single shot, if you want more than one you'll need to get a co2 or pneumatic gun with a magazine. The rifle will kill coons, but coons are pretty tough in the body so don't expect to drop it unless you hit the head or a vital. This gun is the same power level as the Crosman 800X, Titian, Optimus etc. Same intermals, different trim. The advertized 1000fps is with alloy pellets, lead is closer to 800.

By xavier from minnesota on June 10, 2012
hey i just bought this gun and i was wondering what type of pellet i should use for hunting crows/squirrels or that size of animal

By Staff on June 11, 2012

Answer:
I recommend RWS .22 hollow points or domed pellets for killing squirrels.
