Swiss Arms .357 BB Revolver, 4" Barrel

  • Code: 288016 · .177 · 344 fps
Out of Stock
Swiss Arms .357 revolver is very fun and easy to shoot. The shooter and everyone in the shooting area should wear safety glasses when a gun is being handled (even if it's unloaded). Remember to remove all pets from the area, as rebounding ammo can hit them, too. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (including metal targets) or water, as that increases the chance of ricochet. Revolver replicas aren't as common as replica semiautos. Enter the Swiss Arms .357 handgun -- a compact model that looks very much like a firearm and loads like one. Because the ejector rod is functional, you can time yourself on what it takes you to push out the shells and insert loaded ones with the included speedloader. This is an excellent gun for maintaining firearm proficiency.

Overall this mostly metal revolver is one of the best co2 guns i've had.

Pros
Nice kick to the gun. Good weight with mostly metal.

Cons
Rubber tip on shells. Bottom of grip look non-realistic.

This Air Pistol is similar to a REAL Colt Python. The attention to detail is incredible. The size, weight and function is as close the the actual firearm as you can get. I have about 20 different Air Powered firearms and this is one of my favorites. Yes, it's not a Colt Python, but it didn't cost $3000 either, and it's a lot cheaper to shoot... If you are looking for a Classic Firearm and don't want to pay a Arm & a Leg, you can have a good time shooting with this. And if you purchase from AD right now it's worth every penny. Get one while you can.

Pros
Great Build Quality. The Weight and Performance is just like the real deal. Minus the recoil, cost of ammo and you can shoot this in your backyard.

Cons
None.

Amazing to me that this $60. CO 2 revolver is of such high quality. Note on the magnified viewing, the thin seems and near perfect metal finish. Charging is via hex key insert in grip base.Speed loader supplied loads six BB's, or you can load the shells while in the gun, from the front of the cylinder. Swiss Arms .357 will group in 2" at 10 meters with a speed of 323 fps...shim the hammer spring for more. In the stock configuration the Swiss Arms, attained 63 usable shots,47 if modded. Inside the barrels front opening lurks rifeling in a 9 MM bore! I needed a bore light to view the BB bore. All metal except the the screwed in grips. Buy it and as the Koreans say 'you have happy face' JB

Cons
NONE!

I own the 6" Colt Python in black and chrome as well as the Swiss Arms in the 6" version. This is identical to the Coly Python BB pistol but a shorter barrel at 4". The velocity ranges from 380-400 fps.

Pros
Same identical gun as the Colt Python but at half the price. Great weight and very accurate!! This has fully adjustable sights

Cons
None

The feel and weight are fine almost like the real colt 357. The only problem I have found is that when you insert the co2 cartridge, you must make sure that it is properly seated and tightened securely, other wise you will hear a hissing sound which is some of the gas being released. other than that it is a fine air pistol grouping at 7yrds in a 6 in. target is good. you can use the same cartridge's as the Umarex Colt Python. I would recommend the Swiss Arms 357, I give it 4 stars only because of how hard you have to tighten to secure the co2 cartridge

Pros
accurate, interchangeable shells, fun to shoot

Cons
the seating of the co2 cartridge

Great for fun and weapons familiarization, feels almost exactly like my real Colt Python. Functions just like a real .357 as well. My favorite part about this gun is that it DOES NOT have that huge warning paragraph anywhere on it, which is pretty hard to come across.

Pros
Recess barrel, no warning trademarks, the "Swiss Arms" logo doesn't look half bad, FULL METAL, trigger and hammer pull feels realistic, adjustable rear sight.

Cons
The grip screws rust pretty easily but alittle CLP and the problem is fixed.

After owning this pistol I have become a great fan of airguns! Very delighted with my purchase. This is not a toy, but a good representation of the actual firearm. Not something one should wave around law enforcement or toy with! Really like the attention to detail of the box and accessories! Great way to save on ammo and to keep a bead on ones aim. I give this pistol an A+ for weight and realism.

Pros
Low cost and realism!

Cons
None so far considering it's intended use. Not a toy and looks real enough to cause a reaction by law enforcement, so use with discretion!

Great value, so real you must be careful where you show this. All steel frame, cylinder, and barrel. Grips are plastic but well made. One of the finest BB revolvers made.

Pros
Steel construction and great weight and feel. Very accurate.

Cons
Shells could have been made stronger, they seem light in weight. Time will tell.

This pistol is very impressive. It arrived in a nice box - formed foam shaped inside - with a wrench for CO2 loading, a clearly written and illustrated manual, six shells, a speedloader, and a package of BBs. A classy start compared to trying to open one of the plastic packages from Hades. I did have one glitch before shooting. I attempted to insert a Umarex CO2 cartridge, and it wouldn't fit. First time I ever had a gun not accept a cartridge. I tried some other Umarex, with no luck. The good news is a Crosman dropped right in, and so did two other brands. Hmmm... any way, the Crosman pierced, I loaded the BBs, and wow, what a nice shooting pistol, reasonably quiet, sort of shooting low, but with a nice 1-2" group after 12 shots. Not bad at all from about 18 feet. I adjusted the rear sight to go to match the POA/POI with good success. Cosmetically the gun was perfect out of the box. Very nice feeling grip, positive cocking. I shoot revolvers SA only. I put a red dot on the front sight and white dots on the rear using some acrylic paint which brought the sights to life. I really like this pistol. Great value! And it takes shells from my Colt Python. Good use of CO2 also.

Pros
Nice overall gun, looks and shoots "quality". Pretty accurate, nice trigger, super value.

Cons
None that I have seen at this point.

DOES THIS PISTOL COME WITH THE UGLY ORANGE PLUG IN THE BARREL? THANKS

No, this is a BB gun, not an air soft.

john

for spare cartridges and loaders, will the Dan Wesson ammunition fit the Colt and Swiss revolvers?

asked J. R. from USA

You can use the shells and speedloaders sold for the Colt Python CO2 BB gun. If you use the shells for the Dan Wesson CO2 BB revolvers, they will work in your gun but velocity will be reduced. Also, the Dan Wesson speedloader is not compatible with this Swiss Arms revolver.
