This is a great back yard plinker. I had no trouble hitting aluminum cans at 100ft with this rifle but beyond that it's hit or miss although I did once kill a crow at 150ft with a basic scope. 550fps is all you need for the back yard. The trigger to me is very hard which makes precision shooting hard, but it is a low budget rifle after all. I have shot over 1000 pellets from this rifle. My favorite being the Crossman domed hollow point you can get at your local walmart, with no malfunctions.
Pros:
accuracy and low price
Cons:
hard trigger

this is a full low end rifle. It would be a good rifle for a beginner or a person who shoots a lot and wants a day of just easy plinking. I put a scope on the rifle and got it dialed it and it shoots like a low end crosman or a low end Beeman... I wouldn't want to use it for target practice past 30 meters. It is consistent, it is easy to use, with or without a scope it shoots straight... I put a scope on so I could see the impact...but removed it, because it is consistent with just the open sights. It is just a fun low power rifle....for the $ it is a bargain for a youngster....It makes me interested in other tech force products. Have fun
