The overall rating is based on the Memorial Day sale price of $153. The Good: I really like the design, weight, and fit and finish of this rifle. It is lighter in weight then my Beeman Sportsman RS2 and Remington Summit. The rifle is closer in design and weight to my Crosman Storm XT. The stock is evenly stained and has deep checkering on the gripe and forearm. The bluing is deep and even no rust. All parts line up and fit nice. The scope is clear and bright, easy to mount and zero. I was able to shoot a 1%u201D 5 shoot group at 20 yards after 50 shots. The Bad: This rifle's trigger is not nearly as good as advertised. It claims to be a 3 lb target trigger. Out of the box it was more like my Beeman Sportsman 1000 with a RS1 one stage trigger. I am currently looking for information on tuning the trigger and have not been able to find anything on tuning this rifle. This rifle was hard and rough to cock out of the box. It has started to smooth out a little after 300 shots. My best guess is it will take 1500 shots to break-in. The Ugly: The rifle's compression tube is loaded with black tar/lube that is being compressed into the barrel. I have to clean the barrel every 5 to 10 shots. If I could find break down information on the rifle I would lube tune it right now. Conclusion: If you are looking for a hit the ground care free shooter right out of the box this rifle isn't for you. If you like to tinker with your rifles like I do and have the time and desire to work through the annoyances I believe this rifle has great potential. There is something about it that makes me think it will become one of my favorites.

Pros
Design, weight, fit and finish, accuracy

Cons
Trigger, dirty compression tube

The good: This rifle has a very nice design and is comparably light weight compared to my Beeman Sportsman Rs2 and Remington Summit. The fit and finish is nice. The wood is stained evenly with nice deep checkering on the grip and forearm. The bluing is dark and even. The scope is bright and clear and zeroed with out difficulties. I have been able to shoot 1" groups at 20 yards within my first 100 pellets. The bad: This trigger is not as described. It far from a target trigger with 3 lb pull. Cocking is heavy and rough. It is starting to smooth out a little with 300 shots through the rifle. I believe the rifle will take 1500 rounds to break in to see it full potential. At present I can't find anything on line for tuning the rifle. The ugly: This rifles compression tube is loaded with black tar/lubricant and I'm still having to clean the barrel every 5 to 10 shots after 300 shots. Conclusion: I believe this rifle has the potentially to shoot .5" groups @ 25 yds. If you are looking for a smooth shooter right out of the box this rifle is not for you. If you're willing to spend the time and put some effort into the rifle you could end up with a shooter.
