This gun is awful. The mag holds about 50 rounds and doesn't shoot as fast as my real tommy gun.

This weapon is just beautiful. I collect Airsoft weapons for their appearance as well as weight and realism, and this gun has all of them. Not only that, but it's effective too! I have to buy new targets because this gun is blowing through my old ones. The price is well worth the weapon-- especially since I was about to buy the same weapon for $200 on another site! I absolutely love the Thompson, and this is a beautiful tribute to it's legacy.
Pros:Included speed loader Weight (so realistic!) Changeable automatic/semi setting Safety switch DurabilityCons:Battery power (Gun is more prone to jamming and reduced accuracy at lower battery power). Doesn't include sling (Many other Thompson usually include slings, but you can get one for cheap). Magazine capacity; I blow through the rounds so fast I'm going to have to buy more than one mag! |

"Lethal and Accurate"

I bought this after reading some of the reviews, because I wanted an all metal gun with actual wood and the price was excellent, considering you get a stick mag and a drum mag with it. The sights are accurate and I shot my plastic Airsoft target to pieces with it. I guess the target wasn't rated for 400 FPS. No jams on either semi or full auto. I wanted something different than the usual fare out on the Airsoft field that is dominated by M16/M4s and AKs. It will be my primary for CQB and a backup for sniping.
I like the extra space in the butt-stock in case i want to store a spare mini-battery. The battery that comes with this is beefy and a High-End AEG battery. I had already pre-ordered spare nunchuk batteries and this one is even beefier than they are.
The gun is very tight and powerful. It meets my Marine inspection critique with 100% rating. Excellent gun.
Pros:Steel and solidly constructed Rate of fire is excellent Weight is realistic Feels like the real deal steel ;) AccurateCons:Rear sigh is listed as "adjustable" but is cheap plastic and only slides left to right. With the limited range of an airsoft gun it needs to be able to not only adjust windage left and right, but also elevation up and down. If you are any kind of marksman at all, you know this is necessary even in a firefight. |
