This Walther Talon Magnum Air Rifle is a powerful .22 caliber rifle that features a robust spring piston break barrel mechanism for maximum velocity with just one cock of the air rifle. At an amazing 1000 feet per second with a standard lead pellet and a zooming 1150 fps with a hyper velocity pellet, this .22 caliber air gun is an ideal air rifle for small game hunting, plinking and small pests. It's made of a strong, weather resistant synthetic stock. It's topped with a sturdy rail for holding the included 3-9x32 air gun scope with duplex reticule. It also has TruGlo fiber optic sights for use without the scope. Unique to this pellet rifle is its adjustable length of pull provided by removing or adding the included inserts between the vented recoil pad and the stock. This magnum rifle also sports a Monte Carlo stock design with a right-hand cheek piece and checkering in the grip and forearm. This Walther rifle has an automatic safety and large muzzle brake to ease its operation and handling. In my mind, this is a true rifle. NOT A TOY!!! I really like this rifle. Maybe a bit heavy for some but I think this adds to stability which translates into accuracy. I just received the gun about a month ago but let me say, it's impressive. It's accurate but mostly fun to shoot. I thought that, right out of the box, it was so accurate I just left the scope off. Love the open sights, easy to see. The power of this rifle is enormous to be respected. I have shot hunting rifles all my life and I assure you this is a small caliber HUNTING RIFLE !!!

Hit targets 50 and 100 ft easily without scope.
Pros:Balance, looks, feel.Cons:Very difficult to cock. Both hands needed but worth the "punch" power. |

Best gun for the money

This is a great gun, in my opinion the best for the money. You get the velocity of a .177 with the force of a .22. A bit hard to cock but that is expected from a gun with this much power. You will need a solid pellet trap for this gun, I destroyed the Crossman pellet trap after 15 shots. A 3/4 plywood board will catch a lead pellet, but if you put 2 in the same spot they will go through.
Pros:Powerful, accurate gun. Well made, a great value.Cons:I wish it came with a wood finish option. The composite/plastic stock looks good but feels cheap. Purely a cosmetic opinion. I dialed in the scope for shooting in my basement and this gun was dead accurate at 40 feet. When I moved outside with a bit more distance (75 feet) the grouping was accurate but no longer on target. Maybe a high velocity pellet would help correct this but I wish I could use the gun at either distance and have it be accurate. |

Awesome High power .22 cal pellet rifle

Price is great. Lots of power. With hyper velocity pellets it's very loud as they break the sound barrier. Sounds like a .22LR. With regular is quiet enough. Awesome value comes with scope.

Nice looking rifle, very accurate. My online purchase was fast, easy, and good delivery time.
Pros:Everything except the dislike I listed.Cons:Wish the stock was a little shorter. I don't have any of the spacers and still find it a little longer than I like. Pistol grip portion isa little thick. |

This air rifle is sweet! Ive been shooting it now for about 2 months. Ive taken it to the gun club, sighted it in at 25 yards. I put 3 pellets right in the bull, moved to 50 yards, pellets didnt even drop! From 50, put 3 pellets on the rim of the bullseye. So I took it to the "plinking" range to test it against my .22 LR. It knocked the silouettes down at least as easy as the .22LR! Alot of people on the reviews say its hard to cock, but you just have to use the right method. I put the but of the stock on my leg, and then pull down on the muzzle break. Easy! Anyone who wants a super accurate air rifle for a very reasonable price, Check it out!
