  • The New Quattro Trigger:
    1. The Quattro Trigger utilizes a 4-lever system (hence Quattro).
    2. Each lever reduces the load acting on the next lever in the system.
    3. By changing contact angles of each component the lever ratios are increased. .
    4. An original load of 250lbs is reduced to approximately 2lbs at the trigger.
    5. A variable load is introduced into the system via the Trigger load screw. This gives the shooter an adjustable trigger load.
    6. The first and second stage adjusting screws vary the length of trigger pull and the amount of first and second stage pressure that is best suited to the shooter.

Powerful and reasonably accurate with some shortcomings.
September 14, 2015
First of all, I am not an expert marksman. Your results and experience with is rifle may be different than mine. I purchased this rifle with iron sights and mounted a UTG scope. I shot the rife with both iron sights and with a scope. It took a lot of experimentation and pellets to get the rifle to a level of accuracy that I wanted. With iron sights I found the rifle to reasonably accurate. The problem is relative size of the front sight reticle to the target. By that I mean, the font sight reticle is as big as the target bulls-eye at 20 yards. This isn't that important to me because I had always intended to mount a scope. Scope mounting is where I found the shortcomings of the dovetail and scope rails to be very apparent to me and from the forums that I have read many other owners of this rife. The recoil on this rife is quite strong and initially I found it nearly impossible to sight the scope. The mount would creep back until it touched the safety. The allen screws securing the scope to the mount would loosen up. I tried all manner of adhesion methods to prevent scope creep and all failed until I used Loctite 638. Loctite 638 is specifically designed to resist shearing moments. You won't find it locally and it is expensive to buy online, but it was the only way I could stop the scope creep. Be careful with it because it requires heat if you need to remove it and it can get into the safety mechanism. I only used Loctite 638 on the scope rails. I used Loctite Blue for the allen screws locking down the scope to the mount. The second thing is the quattro trigger. I tried adjusting, but it is not a hair trigger. The trigger pull is quite heavy and as a consequence I find it affects my accuracy. Shooting right handed I had a tendency to always be right of my intended impact point. Shooting left handed I had a tendency to always be left of my intended impact point. I'm still working on improving my trigger pull technique, but I am now able to consistently put the pellet within 1.5 inches of the bulls-eye at 25-30 yards. I think you will find that your choice of pellets will affect accuracy also. I have shot Beeman Kodiak (31.02 grains), Benjamin domed (27.8 grains), and Predator Polymag (26 grains). For me the Kodiak's were the least accurate, perhaps because the seemed to have the loosest fit when inserting into the firing chamber.
Powerful. I tested several different types of pellets on ballistic gel. The Kodiak and Benjamin domed pellets penetrated and exited 6 inches of ballistic gel at 20 yards. The Polymag expanded after entering the gel, as advertised, and stopped just short of exiting 6 inches of ballistic gel at 20 yards. I shot a Polymag pellet at 30 yards into a water filled can and the results were devastating.
Dovetail mounts and scope rails too shallow to prevent scope creep. Requires use of Loctite 638 to prevent scope creep. Heavy trigger pull. Lots of practice required to get accurate and relatively tight grouping.

Fast shipping, thanks AGD! Had ordered three from another company all came in damaged. This one came in unscathed. A little on the heavy side and not a refined as some expensive brands, but for the price you get a lot of bang for the buck. Plenty of knock down power. Would be great for hunting just don't want to carry it around for miles. Hasn't been broke in yet but I plan to get it tuned to smooth it out. Twangs pretty good. Very happy with the purchase. Would recommend.
Plenty of power, nice wood, accurate with loose hold, likes variable pellets, adjustable trigger, no air tanks involved and the price cant be beat for a .25 cal.

Just about a Good Rifle
November 17, 2013
After almost a year, I thought to write a review for this Rifle. We all know made by Hatsan Arms. The quarto trigger works just about right if you change the Allen screws with a set screws to have a bit more travel. The power of the Rifle is very strong and hit the Target hard. The recoil of the Rifle spring is a bit strong and the Dovetail is very little in to the receiver and that make the Scope to "walk" back and overcome the small Scope stop. By doing that, it make the Rifle to loose the accuracy. With out the Scope and use just the sites is good and accurate gun. The steel material and wood Stock are A-1.
Accurate with out a Scope, Power of the Rifle very good, Wood Stock and steel material.
Dovetail no good for the bad and strong recoil of the spring Piston. No good Scope Stop (very small to stop anything)

Webley Patriot Cal .25
January 8, 2013
I have heard a lot of talk about the Turkish made Patriots being poorly made. That is very wrong. This rifle is far from a poorly made gun. In fact it was completely flawless. Machine work on metal parts and stock was perfect. It's big and heavy but a dream to shoot. The recoil is heavy but accuracy is still there, the Quatro trigger makes that possible. I shot a 0.68 inch group from 20 yards. A powerful gun meant for hunting.
Beautiful rifle. Accuracy! Trigger. Powerful. Sits nice against your cheek.

Webley Patriot .25 caliber

First this is an adult gun. Don't put your cheek bone behind the raised piece of the stock if it has big recoil, it can ruin your experience. Now that i am more familiar with this gun, it's power and recoil it's much easier to aim @ and hit a target. I am familiar with the concept of letting the gun shoot, don't try to hold tightly, allow it to recoil and stay out of it's way. A loose hold works best, now i have 1" groups at 30 ft with practice, learn to relax...........
a. Power of the 25 cal. b. comes to the shoulder nicely c. Stock also looks very nice ! d. Iron sights work ok e. looks and build quality f. new Quattro Trigger g. safety may be applied @ any time and is self explanitory
a. No sling mounts b. plastic parts: front sight, trigger guard c. Weight: 9.6 lbs (w/Scope) d. Cocking Effort: 50 lbs

Hello, Is this rifle totally made in UK, or assembled in some other country?
Did you notice any decrease in power after continuous moderate usage over the years?
What is the most massive pest or animal to be killed by this rifle at a distance of about 40 meters?
Do you know, (or have you discovered through usage) any defects, or drawbacks for this gun?
Thank you for your advice!
