This gun has amazing accuracy out of the box. It is amazing for shooting squirrels and other pests, but the trigger and scope could be better.

Heavy gun with an even heavier trigger pull.
June 29, 2012

I was expecting a bit more from a gun that retails for $200. It is fairly heavy for a pellet rifle at 6.6 pounds, but the trigger pull is even heavier at a ridiculous 9 pounds. And to make matters worse, it's a rough, uneven pull. I have to really concentrate on my pull to avoid veering away from the target. I plan to take it apart to see if I can tune it up a bit. The scope is a toy, so if you plan on hunting with this, then you'll need to replace it with a better one. However, the fiber optic sights are nice. The site adjustments could be a bit tighter, as they are easily loosened. If this gun retailed for less money, I'd give it more stars, but for 200 clams, I expect more. Buy this if it's around $100.
Pros:Solid wood. (The picture on the box is Walnut, but this gun is made of cheaper mystery wood, but it looks OK) powerfulCons:Very rough, and heavy 9-pound trigger pull. Poor quality scope |

Heavy, not a child`s toy. Outstanding fit and finish. Shoots good groups right out of the box. Long first stage on the trigger but breaks clean. The AO on the scope is a must. Have 3 of these scope and they are good.
Pros:fit and finishCons:trigger could be better |

This is an unbelievable value! I still can't believe it's power after shooting over 1000 rnds. Put on a "good" scope and it's accuracy is spot on! I had to go with heavy pellets (10+gr.) to acheive the best grouping. Kodiak's or Crosman Premier Ultra mags work great.

This is not an airsoft gun. It's a pellet gun. Do not shoot people with this as it could result in extreme injury.Checkout our airsoft section for airsoft guns

Answer:
You didn't mention what type of pellets you are using, but I highly recommend the RWS Domed 8.3 gr pellet. Also the AA Field 10.3 gr pellet. When all else has failed for me these seem to do the trick. Did you lock tite all the screws holding the gun together? This is a must. Are you putting your hand between the pad and the rifle, if not, try that. If all else fails, hold it like a normal firearm and see what happens. Good Luck.By Tim from south louisiana on January 9, 2012
Answer:
I have the Daisy 1000x same gun. Turkish made. Shot like a shot gun.All the stock screws were tight and scope screws with locktite. I just kept shootin and at about 800 rounds the gun became a lazer beam. Loves Crosman wad cutters. Shoots quarter size groups all day from 55 ft. Just had to be broke in. Stick with it. This gun will shoot well. Extreamly hard hitting gun. Im 52 years old and have a lot of springers, was not happy with this one at first but love it now. Just keep shootin.By Conor from Sunnyside, WA on February 8, 2012
Answer:
Use the artillery hold, or hold it tight, or in-between, experiment with different holds. The piston could be shot though....By bobcat from Grenville, MS on March 9, 2012

The tigger pull is hard on these guns, I adjusted mine and it shoot like a charm.
