Benjamin Varmint Power Pack Air Rifle Kit

  • Code: BVNK92SX · .22 · 950 fps
Out of Stock
Powerful! Reliable! Accurate! Sounds like the perfect airgun! And it just might be. Crosman Corporation has proven time and again that their Nitro Piston power plant really delivers downrange. Their barrels are accurate- the Nitro Piston that replaces the coiled metal mainspring is reliable and significantly less noisy. Put this air rifle up against any others you've got and see which takes the most squirrels, rats, ground hogs, rabbits and more. Because of the power and the fact that this is .22 caliber, you may be able to take game at further distances than other springers. This kit includes a .22 cal Nitro Piston rifle, CenterPoint 4x32mm scope, and a *laser/flashlight combo with scope mounts.

As an entry level Air Piston rifle this is a great choice. The price point is good even with out the scope package.

Pros
This is a very good gun. Just like all airguns it does have its limitations. I have had to dispatch possums on my property with the confidence of stopping tem in their tracks. I'd Like to get more power out of it but it does the job.

Cons
More POWER Please. Yeah it is hard to cock but there is a remedy using proper techniques and don't we all agree more power is better?

Would not buy this gun idk what ammo they used to get 950 FPS but with 15.89grain jsb you looking at 650fps with over 2” groups at 20 yards. Would not recommend this gun for hunting due to injury of the animal from accuracy and how heavy the gun is. For just $50-$100 more you can pick up a pcp that’s on the low in but has more power and way better accuracy. Take it for a grain of salt if you must but that’s my opinion after owning multiple break barrel’s and mid to high in pcp’s and years and years of shooting/hunting with air guns.

Pros
Quite

Cons
Not accurate at all used JSB 15.89 grain pellets.

I purchased this gun in .22 to replace my RWS Dana 34 .177, I was not in the mood to break the bank. And this was probably the best arms purchase that I have made ever. It is very solid. and accurate right out of the box. It is great having a neighborhood competition every weekend. I have yet to take out any varmints that have invaded the garden (for some reason they have stayed away ever since the rifle was delivered). I replaced the scope first thing though, I am sure it is fine, but felt a bit flimsy to me.

Pros
Solid feel, Power, and quality so far.

Cons
The scope needs to be chucked. Made in China???

I bought this gun at a Gander Mt. For around $250 about a year ago. I liked the package option at first because of the lazer and flashlight, because it would help me hunt at night, and also there was sling studs on the box (which it did not have). I picked up Benjamin PCP Discovery pellets, as well as the crosman premiers both 14.3 gr. The gun would not shoot consistently due to the scope and rings kept coming loose. So I bought a high quality UTG air rifle scope, trashed the lazer and flashlight, and put lock-tight on my rings so they would hold their Zero. For small and medium game this rifle is a tack driver up to about 50 yards. Although it is a heavy gun, The Ergonomics are spot on. Trigger isn't too great though, although it is a fixable problem. Instead of buying this particular rifle, I would buy the Benjamin Trail NP, because it's almost the same thing, but cheaper because the lack of a crappy lazer and flashlight.

Pros
Accurate, after upgrades Ergonomic. Stoping power

Cons
Not accurate out of the box. Terrible quality hardware. Heavy. No sling studs, like the box depicts

Ordered refurbished, looked new in plain box! Scope was wrong (different than listed) a lot of back and forth with AGD and Crosman - no real solution. Ended up buying my own scope and laser and flashlight! Also did trigger upgrade (Google it!) for these rifles, which improved it TREMENDOUSLY! Tried 10 different pellets to find something it really likes. Surprise, surprise, it likes Crosman premiers (Hollowwpoints) and Destroyers! I am sure there is more it likes, I have to keep trying. Very nice feel, heavy and very solid, BUT needs artillery hold for accuracy (like all springers) Bipod helps. 20 yard accurate shots with great knock down power! Nice shrouded barrel. Look for micro laser under tip of scope in photos! Flashlight not in photos

Pros
Solid feel, well balanced, great power.

Cons
No swivel mounts, heavy to carry around all day!

Bought this about a month ago from Airgun Depot... Fast shipping, excellent service... Zeroed the scope pretty quick and easy. I like the accuracy, it's a nice tight shot group. Used Crosman wad cutters for paper targets to zero, got some Skenco New Boys (28.6 grain .22's - URL: https://www.airgundepot.com/skenco-newboy-senior-22-caldomed-100ct.html) for some fun. So far I like the weight and feel of the rifle. Quality is good. I really like this rifle. I've been using pellet rifles for better than 40 years... Still have a few that are over 20 years old and work. This is a great deal, good quality rifle that I expect to be using for along time. It's already one of my favorites. Great varmint hunter :-)

Pros
• All season rifle, even deep winter. • .22 caliber packs a wallop. • Scope rail designed to stop recoil slippage (notched RIS rail on top). • Trigger pull is adjustable. • Accurate, nice tight groupings. • Refurbished price is unbeatable. New condition, great deal. • Quickly be on target and loaded in seconds. One pull on the break barrel and aim... • Can pre-load pellet without cocking the full stroke. • Nitro piston allows a smoother stroke, no spring fatigue even hours later. • Love the lighted red/green reticle on the provided 3-9x zoom scope.

Cons
• Needs sling attachment points.

I bought this mid summer on impulse, stupid I know, but I was getting tired of squrilles trying to get into my attic and I just did not feel comfortable using my Ruger 10/22 within proximity of neighbors. I went through a 250 ct tin of pellets just to be certain I had given the rifle a decent break-in and then went to the bench to sight in at 25 yards which is about the distance I thought I would need to be pin point. After about 2 hours and a number of different types of ammo I came to the conclusion that if I could get close enough to a squrille given the weight of this rifle, I could impart a fatal blow with a direct impact on a squrilles head with the butt. Finally in despiration I went to my local gun shop and bought a tin of RWS Superdome's (not available at the big box stores) and pulled my Bushnell 4-12 40 AO off another rifle and repeted the sight in process and viola'. 5 shots at 25 yds I would have been happy with a 1" grouping and ended up with a 1/4" group with 2 shots through the same hole. Then i changed to crossman ammo of similar weight and could not believe how inaccurate the next shots became. So I have come to the conclusion that while this model may have raw talent I suspect every one is a little different and only expermintation and perserverance will provide a positive outcome. For the record, I have not missed a shot inside 100 ft. since making those changes.

Pros
Good power... It will take down rabbits and squrilles at 35 yards with heavier ammo. Very consistent with the right ammo and optics

Cons
Very heavy so I personally would not use it for anything but close to home rodent and pest control.

Good rifle for a good price. Some say the accuracy not so good but I sighted it in and has stayed true. Have well over 500 shots on it so its broken in and I dont expect any changes. Not the highest dollar scope but works as it should. Laser pointer seems to get misaligned easily but I havnt messed with it much. Shots hard and not to loud.

Pros
Looks good and shoots straight.

Cons
No sling mounts that are shown on box
