Heavy, extremely accurate pellet for long ranges. First-class aerodynamic design for high impact and penetration. Tightest shot groups. Lowest rate of lead fouling and consistent shot spreads thanks to special alloy and lubrication. If you need a hunting pellet that's consistent in size and weight, this would be the one to pick. Note: The weight listed on this tin is incorrect.

As usual H&N pellets are very well formed and the skirt gives a very good seal. Accuracy in my Umarex Gauntlet and Marauder pistol is outstanding.

These H & N Pellets are the most accurate of most of the pellets that I have shot. They are super clean and consistent.

Pros
A good price for what you get

I had ordered the 5.53 head size and they measured much larger than advertised. The 5.52's measured much closer to advertised. I also noticed that a large number of these pellets weighed 21.5 grains plus! Nearly 1/2 grain higher that the advertised weight. I was trying these pellets out for long range (75 and 100 yard) target shooting. They are clean, good looking pellets, however, they did not shoot as accurately as the JSB 18.13 gr. pellet at these distances. If I was hunting with them, the accuracy would be adequate.

I might have gone a little bit overboard to the heavy side when I ordered these but I wanted to see how they performed in my Ruger Air Magnum. First of all, don't even bother trying to shoot these mini cannon balls out of a non-magnum rifle. They drop a good 5 inches at 30 yards just from the reduced velocity that results from their weight. My Ruger Air Magnum however, puts these right on target at 75 yards. Once it is good and broke in, I will be reaching for the 100 mark. I hit a hundred yard backstop a couple of times today (twice out of 5 shots) but I have no idea where the shot placement was as I did not have a target hung. Just wanted to see if I could reach the backstop which it did 40% of the time. Given some time and patience, I think these will probably work out in my Air Magnum. Just not quite there yet.

Pros
Has enough weight to make long shots.

Cons
Not an "every gun" round. Magnums only. Don't expect results if your rifle cant hurl lead at 1,000 FPS.

Bought these to stock up since they are the most accurate in my marauder. Very good pellet with no faults that I have found in all the tins I have bought. Only thing I will say is that these pellets are 21.30 grains and not 20.8 grains as stated in the description. It must be a typing error but its no big deal just thought it should be brought to your attention. (The reader)
